We’ve had the pleasure of working with John and Machu Picchu Tours for several of our groups in Peru, and he is simply amazing to work with.

Machu Picchu Tours created a dream experience for adventure seeking, 3-year newlyweds. My wife Sarah and I were swept away with this intense, eye-opening and culturally rooted experience on the Inca Trail. Our tour operator John along with guides Charlie, Jose and Danny and the phenomenal camp chef Romero and porter team crafted an adventure full of archeological wonders, history lessons and native perspectives. Trekking 4-days among breathtaking mountainside views and challenging terrain pushed us to our limits and created moments of gratitude while taking in the spectacle and natural beauty of Peru. From tent glamping, to city museum and open market tours, alpaca farm visits to the crescendo of the Machu Pichu citadel complex site exploration, this trip had it all. There was even time to indulge in spa-style massage treatments, souvenir shopping and top restaurant dinning spots. In all we stayed 12 days in country and will never forget our time in Lima, Cusco and all the little communities along the way. Machu Picchu tours had been amazing!!! This is the 2nd trip I have done with them and always get the most amazing first class services. The Vinicunca Rainbow Mountain Tour with Machu Picchu tours was absolutely incredible! I had read about Rainbow Mountain before, but seeing it in person was beyond anything I could have imagined. The colors of the mountain were just stunning, and our guide made sure we learned about the cultural significance of the area as well. The trek itself was challenging due to the altitude, but our guide was patient, encouraging, and gave us plenty of breaks. I appreciated how well-organized everything was, from the early morning pickup to the breakfast provided before starting the hike.
