If I could give half a star, I would. Could not believe the lack of professionalism and efficiency. One of the worst customer service experiences I've ever had.
I brought my old ipad to them as it was running slowly because the battery needed to be replaced. I asked what the turn around time would be and they said one day, maybe two. Over a week later, still no ipad and I'm beginning to get the run around from macman. Finally, they admit to me that my ipad has stopped working entirely, they do not know what they've done to it but they cannot get it to turn back on. Not only did they show no remorse for rendering my ipad entirely useless, they evaded responsibility entirely, offering me no solutions or compensation.
After a little pushing, they offered me £50 off an old refurbished ipad, a mere pittance in comparison to the value my ipad held before it was relinquished into their custody. After weeks of negotiation via email and telephone, I finally got them to (very begrudgingly) provide me with £100 off an older model refurbished ipad. This almost felt like a win considering the amount of time and effort I'd spent in order to get any sort of equitable compensation, but they decided to screw me over one last time charging me £40 more than THE APPLE STORE CHARGED FOR A NEW ONE. So considering this and the fact that I could've easily sold my original ipad for £150 online, used, in the condition it was, I literally would've been better off if I had never even heard the name Macman.
The icing on the cake is that every single person that I dealt with at the shop was so rude and inconsiderate every single time I had to contact them, even though I had done nothing untoward to them and they were the ones that broke my ipad, then made me fight for weeks just to get fair compensation for their negligence.
