SCAM! Avoid this seller!

SCAM!! I bought what he told me to be a fully functional MacBook pro. Turns out several buttons, speakers, and microphone are broken. AVOID THIS GUY AT ALL COSTS. He also sells over DBA, so be careful. At the transaction he told me he would send me a receipt for my purchase, but I never received anything.

Oskar, you bought a computer via a PRIVATE SALE, not through MacRep.dk.
You tested the computer for 30 minutes, went through a whole checklist that you had found online -and concluded that everything was okay, before buying it.

Then you came back a week later, saying the mic wasn't working - and even though I was under NO OBLIGATION WHATSOEVER to repair it, what did I say? I said sorry about that, I'll fix it for you, free of charge. I even offered to drive to Copenhagen and pick it up for you, to which you replied, and I'm quoting here "I have 17 minutes before next meeting, can you make it before then"...... Well, of course not. Then I informed you that you could send it to me and I would fix it and ship it back to you and then I heard nothing for more than a month. Now I return from a week of vacation, to see 3 emails from you and a 1 star review of my business that you didn't even shop at?

Now all of a sudden, everything is wrong with the computer and I am a scammer, claiming you're the victim of fraud?

Because I didn't come running at your convenience, after sending me 5 worded emails?

Eat a meatball you swedish Karen, and go ahead and choke on it too. Enjoy your computer and YES, PLEASE - anyone else bringing their self important, super neurotic, angst behaviour to the table, can go ahead and AVOID ME AT ALL COSTS. .

All you had to do was call brother, like any of my hundreds of other happy and loyal customers do.

And also,I said i would send you a private bill of sale, NOT A RECEIPT! But it was hard to do, seeing as you didn't provide me with and email address, like we agreed.

Maybe you're the scammer - since you're review-bombing a business that you've had no transactions with. Either way, I hope you make it back to Sweden before Ikea closes. Thanks for Karen... See what I did there?

DO NOT RECOMMEND.

DO NOT RECOMMEND.

MacRepdk isn’t a good option if you’re looking for a reliable and trustworthy repair service.

I was told that both the keyboard and logic board were ‘fried’ because of the liquid damage - pretty bad situation, the estimated cost was 5500 dkk. It turned out the logic board was completely fine and I ended up paying 2500 dkk in another service. I spent 350 in MacRepdk for an unprofessional diagnosis - I would appreciate getting my money back.

Extremely disappointing experience. I was almost cheated on 3000 dkk even though I used this service before. Never again.

Dear Kinga, you have been here several times before. You have never given us a good review for fixing your stuff, well below market pricing. This time you are so unhappy that you feel we deserve this terrible review.. Well - let me clarify a few things. First of, with expensive equipment, bargain hunting for repairs is not always the best thing to do. We offer long term solutions - not cheap, quick fixes, even though I have been very nice to you price-wise, when you have done business with us.

That being said, I can tell this you much. The diagnosis we performed was done the same way we do every diagnosis. The right way. Your keyboard was damaged and not functioning, because of liquid damage. Your LogicBoard was also covered by this liquid. I keep photo documentation of every case in our archives - in case some bargain hunter, unsatisfied with our pricing, tries to sully our name on the internet.

Your LogicBoard was non functioning, and this was confirmed by measuring voltage to and from the CPU and other key circuits. This is why I offered you a replacement of both the keyboard and the LogicBoard - again at 1.300,- dkr discounted price - to be nice.

Working with electronics, it is not uncommon that problems can occur periodically. I cannot say if that is the case here, but I can say this. You don't have the right to call our service unprofessional - quite the contrary.

FURTHERMORE, SAYING ONLINE THAT MY BUSINESS AND I TRIED TO CHEAT YOU, IS SOMETHING IS I RECENT A GREAT DEAL!

I WELCOME YOU TO COME AND SEE THE PHOTO EVIDENCE OF YOUR DAMAGE.

If and when your LogicBoard stops working again, you should revise this review.

It happens approximately once a year, that we lose a repeat customer over some nonsense. It cannot be avoided. I pride myself on the fact, that the remaining 999 customers we provide quality services for each year, still know what's up.

I wish you the best of luck with your new service provider.

I am always sad to lose a customer,
but at least, we won't be the target of your trolling next time.

Rude and dishonest service

The tone i met entering the macrep.dk store should have made me wonder but because others had written good reviews I gave it a shot anyways.
The owner made me feel like the biggest idiot from the moment I walked in, and since I was not knowing a thing about computers, he also used that against me. I was told that he would take a charge of 350 kr for a diagnose and that he would give me a call after two days. When I called after two days the aswer was "if I didnt call it means that I havent finished, but it doesnt look good". Well, I had to make three more phonecalls and messages each time with an answer "tomorrow before 3 pm" . He never contacted me. After a week I got really sceptical and got scared that something happened to my computer so I asked him to stop working on it. I only got an answer that he machine wasnt finished until another two days and that I still had to pay the fee. He also told me that since it was my choice to stop the work, he didnt finish the total diagnose. I got an email with a partially diagnose, one including "broken screen", which I already knew since it was black. He said it might be due to the logicboard, but I didnt give the time to finish the diagnose. All in all, I thought my baby was dead but was so lucky to trust in another service a bit further out of town (see my review) where I was told that a cable from the screen was broken but that my computer started anyways. They cable inside could only break while opening the computer the other place told me. I dont have any proof, but I wonder where that cable broke...apparantly that happens often in diagnosing computer mistakes. I believe in honest service, if I would have been met with a nice tone and an honesty about that repairtime takes more than a week, thats fine but what I met was just not ok. I just dont trust the service of macrep.dk
