Absolutely brilliant service!
Absolutely brilliant service. My Macbook Pro got water damaged, both Michael and Gavin were on hand with friendly, honest advice, and repaired the machine for £300, which is a far cry from the other company I approached who quoted me £1600!! My Mac is now better than before the accident, I'm super pleased, cannot recommend this company enough.

Excellent experience
Website easy to navigate and directed me to exactly what was available to upgrade my 2011 iMac. It can be a minefield.
When ordering I was requested to confirm my specifications to that they could validate I was purchasing the correct items with no errors on my behalf.

I ordered a screwdriver and iMac repair…
I ordered a screwdriver and iMac repair sets.
They arrived on time, however the screwdriver was not magnetic and also it was short. I had real trouble to unscrew one of the screws that was squeezed between panels because the screwdriver could not reach. Then I had even more trouble putting the screw back because I could not land it in place without a magnetic screwdriver holding it.
Finally the adhesives came without any instructions and it took guesswork and luck to put the screen of the iMac back.

Sorry to hear you had problems. The iMac page you ordered from has the install video in the middle of the screen in a blue box (https://www.macupgrades.co.uk/store/mac/ME087LL-A#ram) which shows the layout of the tape and where to put them along with the whole install procedure, sorry it wasn't clearer to see. Not all of the internal screws are magnetic so it can be a bit of a pain.

Great Service, reliable and helpful.
Great company to work with. Very knowledgable and supportive. When you buy from Macupgrades you know it is going to work and if you are not sure about whether a particular item is right for your machine just ask them. I refurbished a 2010 MacBook Pro for my 9 year old grandson. It runs like a new machine with 16 GB Ram and SSD, drive and trackpad. The new battery lasts at least 7 hrs or longer continuous use. Very pleased with the service and their honest, straightforward approach.
