Awful Customer Service, Poor Bag Design
This company calls themselves high quality.
Their website says their boards ship in 3-5 days. It took a week before my board even left their warehouse, let alone shipped. When I called customer service to ask about this, I had to leave a vm, as they stated they had a high call volume. I got an email back days later, after my board had already shipped out.
When I finally received my board, I found that the bag’s straps are made for larger people. I am 120lbs and 5’5 (a pretty average woman), yet I could put an entire arm through the completely cinched hip strap, and the chest strap couldn’t sit any higher than right across my boobs (ouch). When I contacted the company about this, I got the following reply: “The bag you received is not defective, this is normal. Since the straps are too big, you can for example sow the strap to shorten it. Please don’t hesitate to contact us if there’s anything else we can help you with!”
I know how to sew. It would take an industrial sewing machine to make the changes she suggested. If an average woman can’t comfortably wear the bag that is designed to hold the board, what is the point of
1: that bag?
2: designing a board that fits in a bag that a good percent of the population can’t use?
When I asked about a return, I was told “there will be a minimum restocking fee of 10% (49.90$) (subject to change upon inspection) and the return shipping fees. (32.95$)”. This is due to “changing my mind” rather than the board being defective.
