I ordered a dresser in January 2022
I ordered a dresser in January 2022, delivery would be in May. In May I received an email that it has been postponed to June. Received an email this morning that it has been postponed to August with a discount voucher. Like I'll ever go there again. to order. Soon we will wait a year for a cabinet, for which I paid around 650,--. Outrageous this case. I think the cabinet will come in just maybe in a year.

Communication of deliveries is very over complicated without giving any clear information on when your order might actually arrive.
This is further compounded as when your order is delayed their system is unable to update to inform you when you can expect your order.
Without clear updates on your delivery, you then need to reach out to their customer service - who can give you a new date for when your order is to be expected. Although, will give you completely conflicting information about what is going on to cause this delay. One even informed me the previous information I was given by his colleague was incorrect, but didn't concern himself with explaining what the correct information would have been.
All in all this creates a very frustrating experience, with no empathy for the situation they leave their customer in. I have just moved into my first home and made.com have added considerable stress & my trust they would be able to live up to their customer promise has left me with a very uncomfortable living situation for a month now without a clear timeline on when I can expect it to improve.

I bought the Brisa Linen fitted sheet in dusky pink. There were all sorts of problems with delivery, I ordered the linen on the 2.2., only the sheet arrived in mid March. The other items made.com ended up cancelling due to defects. I wish they would have cancelled the sheet too, as the quality was disappointing, the material was rough and already full of snags and the shape somehow loose. I decided to keep it anyway, thinking that it might seem better after a wash. When it came out of the wash it already had a hole in it! A massive disappointment, never mind a rip off for a £72 sheet! I got some linen from a competitor, Secret Linen Store, and the quality is a 100 % better.

Disappointing from start to finish

What a disappointing experience with MADE.com. I ordered a desk, the Heaton Wide desk, the first one that arrived had a massive crack in the main part of the table. Ok, damage en route happens, no big deal, contacted them, they arranged collection and delivery of a second desk. Slightly damaged packaging on arrival, which was worrying so I notified just to be on the safe side. Proceeded to assemble the desk, wow such a lot of pieces for a relatively simple looking desk and not the most straightforward to put together. Anyway we pressed on only to find two of the same parts had been supplied i.e., 2 x part 12 instead of part 11 and part 12. The desk at this point is now part made.
Contacted MADE.com, they apologised and said they would send an engineer out, we were perplexed and said can't you just send the missing part. No that wasn't possible, so we said make sure the engineer has the relevant part otherwise it will be a wasted journey. Engineer turns up, confirms wrong part has been received but doesn't have the replacement and will write a report and submit his findings.
MADE contacted and said they can't just send the missing part, so I can either have a third desk or a refund. By this point I was done and asked for a refund. Had to take the desk apart and repackage for collection. The desk was supposed to be collected yesterday but wasn't. I'm still awaiting my refund. What a complete waste of time!!
Don't think I'll be using MADE again.

6 months delays and damaged table
I have ordered my dinning table from made on the 7th of December. Initial ETA was end of March. In the end of March I have received an email saying the table was delayed until end of April. End of April comes and another delay... Finally, mid of May, I've received an email to schedule an appointment for the table delivery. On the same day it was suppose to be delivered, I received one last email saying that the package has been returned to Made due to damaged. So after 6 months still no table and no compensation...

Read reviews and there awful. I was about to put an order in for a bed and wardrobes but won’t be now. I don’t know how companies like this are allowed to still operate treating people this way so concerning reading all the reviews. I’m glad i researched this company before placing an order 😡

Express delivery from hell!
Express delivery?
Made makes some "goodlooking" and overpriced stuff.
Gues i'll call it goodlooking cause i've never seen their furniture in real life. And this morning i woke up with yet another mail about yet another delay. How the F can i order stuff from around the world and get it deliverd faster then their so called "express delivery".
And all you get is a copy-paste mail, no reason for the delay. You pay a shitload of money for their furniture and get nothing.
This company is going under, thats the only reason.

quality is inferior
quality is inferior - you will pay for what you think is decent quality, yet they ship you cheap Chinese, poorly manufactured rubbish. You will also wait over 4 months for your furniture despite the indication that 1.) they have stock and 2) express delivery is offered. Customer service is virtually non existant. Avoid Made.com at all costs.

I’m still waiting for my refund for a returned item for over a month now!
Super inconvenient and not transparent return process. They told me that I could reject the item upon delivery. However, it is something that’s clearly not communicated with their delivery partner. It took me a while explaining that I did not want this item upon delivery and he finally agreed to take it back.
And now been a month, and several contacts to customer service (which takes days to get a very generic response), I was told that the item still hasn’t arrived?!!!
Never had such a bad and slow experience trying to get a refund.

Awful!
Awful, awful, awful customer service! Waited for my couch for 11 months! They didn't had audacity to give me updates about my couch, I have to ask to their customer service only to get the answer "we are so sorry blah blah". Babies are born faster god damn it.. I would not recommend to anyone to order big furnitures from there. Oh and also don't believe when they say they give vouchers because apparently I had 2 vouchers and they cannot grant me one more. They get the money right away and rip me off and then have the guts to tell me that I'm not eligible for a 60 euro voucher. Well thanks, you just lost 3K...

Bedside lamps
Ordered two plug in bedside lamps, they came within a few days, quicker than anticipated. Well packaged as they could probably chip easily, mostly in cardboard. Good, easy instructions for installation. They look great, very stylish.

The best hanging lamp I have ever have
Overall, my purchase with Made.com (NL) went really smooth. I know most of you perhaps will be discourage to buy in Made because for the last 2-years they had a bad review, especially in terms of shipping and items quality.
I also had the same feelings, ups and downs, whether they have solved the logisitics issue. Apparantely (at least from my case) it looks like they have managed it, because i received my order faster than it was expected. And the items quality? same as what it looks in the advertisement.
Ultimately, I will give 5-stars for Made.com

Never ordering again.
We purchased a wardrobe for just under £800. Assumed it would be good quality because of the price and also the description Made supplied us with on their website.
But, no. We were wrong. We moved the wardrobe (empty) in our bedroom and the leg snapped instantly. I contacted Made for a spare leg. They couldn't supply us with it. So, instead they sent someone over from Home Serve around 4 weeks later. Which was quite a long time considering. But I was happy to wait and hopefully have the wardrobe fixed.
Instead, Home Serve come over. Look at the wardrobe and go, 'This wardrobe isn't meant to be moved' (Firstly, WHAT? I spent £800 on a wardrobe that can never be moved?! It never said this on the website.) And then he corners my partner in our room and makes him do a voice recording saying we were in the wrong for the damage.
This is SO wrong. And very strange? Never have I experienced such terrible service that made myself and my partner feel so awkward and odd in our own home.
So yep. In short. Don't buy from here.

We are in the nightmare loophole of customer service
We are in the nightmare loophole called made customer service. Since they do not have any. We received a completely broken cabinet 2 weeks ago. They offered via mail that we could keep it with 60 euro discount. On a 500 euro cabinet, so barely 10 % discount which makes absolutely no sense for all the trouble and a unusable cabinet. So we wanted a new cabinet. This would take 2 weeks and only AFTER we could make a pick up appointment for the broken one. Why? Also we could not swop them when the new one was received. Today we received a new one. Again broken. So now our living room is full with 2 broken cabinets and no easy way to reach customer service or any clue when they will start picking up their broken products. We used to be happy with made for the quality but we will never order again. Be aware of the current bad quality (probably changed their supplier) of their products and poorest customer service experienced.
UPDATE: the message below is automated by a bot. They did not ask for my customer number so are not investigating anything. And they will not give us a discount on the again broken item. Also we have to provide the wrapping for the cabinet that needs to be send back. This against all laws for delivery in the Netherlands so be aware of this fraudulent company. Do not order, they will not help at all when they make mistakes. Which they are obligated to do by law.
