Scam. Not from Galway, from China. Cheap , tiny, plastic junk. Do not buy!
Avoid like the plague. Cheap plastic crap you can get elsewhere for a third of the discount price. Not handcrafted. Not from Gakway. Shysters. Avoid.
Scam. Not from Galway, from China. Cheap plastic junk. AI generated responses when you email them. AVOID AT ALL COSTS.
This is a complete scam. Not from Galway. Comming from China. A battery lamp half the size as in the picture. I demanded a full refund which I am still looking for. Don't purchase.
Do not buy from this lady, it is a scam, ordered a sam lamp, it came from abroad ( not galway) when it eventually arrived ( after Christmas) it was a piece of rubbish, looks like it came from a euro store, plastic rubbish, nothing like she advertises, when I sent her an e mail so I could return it , the email came back as failed, so you cannot contact her, complete scam 😡
A follow up on this website. I contacted them via email about returning the items. No response. AVOiD AT ALL COSTS.
This company is a total scam .
The lamp is tiny, made of plastic, looks absolutely awful.
I wouldn't pay a penny for it.
I contacted them, they offered 10%refund as they said returning the product could be very stressful for me😂.
Stay away from this crowd .
Ordered 5 lamps of Maeve Galway Website.
One month later I received 5 plastic miniature bulb and usb operated plastic replica's that were not the same as advertised. My hand was bigger than the scam items.
- 5 lamps were shipped from China.
- Website showed no address but a pindrop location of Galway.
- Website outlined loss of her husband and closing down sale....SCAM and untrue.
received my dog lamp the other day and totally shocked when i seen it only about 4 inch high and at the bottom where the battery goes says made in china it looks like a piece of plastic that came out of a mold very disappointing piece and i don’t know what batteries goes into it as they are not included never seen those size battery case before
I too was caught by this company, absolute scam ,ordered something beautiful, what came back I wouldn't pay 50 cents for ,absolutely disgraceful. Stay far away from the company
This company is a total scam. The website claims "Every lamp....is an artistic light....a piece of art...crafted with care..." This is a load of nonsense and the lamp delivered looks NOTHING like the one in the picture on the website. When I emailed requesting a form to claim a refund the email address given doesn't exist.
Advertised as handmade in Galway what nonsense. The worst Chinese rubbish I have seen. Don’t waste your money.
Absolute rubbish. Nothing like the pictures. Fake . Not real stained glass as shown in the pictures. Do not even be tempted to buy them
Products are shipped from China, meaning they are not handmade in Ireland. I canceled order after 2hrs and was refused refund by AI generated email stating that is against their policy to give me the refund or cancel order, thus i raised case with Revolut to get my money back.
This company is the biggest rip off ever. I paid 40e for what should have been a beautiful dog lamp. What arrived was a disgusting plastic cheap horrible tiny light. This was a present im absolutely disgusted. Do not buy from these people
This is not a legitimate company. It certainly is not a boutique in Galway or anywhere west of the Shannon. It is a well crafted, well orchestrated AI generated scam. The 'people' depicted in it are just virtual AI puppets developed in the ether of criminal minds. They prey on people's vulnerabilities concocting heart wrenching yarns about why their store is closing after so many years. These items can be got on well known established sites for half the price. Please don't waste your hard earned money by swallowing this diatribe.
