Amazing Customer Service & Support + Great Facility
Had an absolutely amazing experience with Magenta Storage and their support team. Specifically, Kirsty was extremely helpful and patient in answering all my questions, responding super quickly to all of my emails and helping me with any concerns & questions I had. She’s been absolutely amazing in guiding me through the process and has made something that is usually quite stressful into a very relaxed and seamless process!
The storage facility itself is super clean, all instructions for access are easy to follow & understand and I had absolutely no issues during the process. Would 100% go with Magenta Storage again, mainly thanks to Kirsty and her amazing support!

Top notch customer service!
I’ve been a customer at this location since day one, and even six to eight months before that at the old site. The staff have always been good and professional, but over the past while I feel Magenta has reached its highest standard yet. Their customer service is second to none.
The manager, Lana, along with the two staff members Kirsty and Abdi — and of course the lovely mascot Bear (Kirsty’s gorgeous dog) — are simply the best team I’ve ever dealt with in any self-storage facility, and I’ve rented several units over the years.
Kirsty and Abdi who are onsite every day are always polite, professional and consistently go the extra mile to ensure customers are satisfied. Without a shadow of a doubt, they are a real asset to the company and I truly hope Magenta look after them because they are exceptional.

It’s becoming increasingly rare these days to come across customer service that is acceptable - magenta outshines EVERYONE. The staff there honestly couldn't do any more for me. I needed storage which was a little more complicated than the average hire, and all the staff I spoke to were extremely patient, and talked me through all options. I would recommend magenta to everyone and many of my friends and work colleagues will be using their facilities in the near future

A blissful experience!
The facility is relatively new, is clean and well organised.
The staff are extremely helpful and cheerful, we dealt initially with Kirsty who set up the arrangement for us in a very efficient and speedy way, explained everything clearly and concisely and made it all terribly easy. We later dealt with Abdi who sorted me out with the technology which was beyond my capability, his beaming smile and urgency was infectious.

Very good customer service
Abdi, he's very friendly, very polite and very helpful. I came to check something about my unit and needs to do something with it. He helps me a lot about my enquiries and my needs. I asked about other things and he tried his best to help out, which amazed me and very down to earth. He always tried to find an answer and understand my situation rather than declining me straight away. I felt like I'm a valuable customer as well though I don't have lots or big units in the company.

Abdi was a great help when we arrived with our items for storage and we needed to have the system explained to us. He could have sat behind his desk and told us what to do but he went the extra mile and accompanied us up in the lift and to our storage unit.

Avoid Magenta Storage at all cost— aggressive, misleading, and legally careless.
I was told I had 24-hour access (nowhere mentioned in the contract)—then suddenly they denied it, refused to share the recorded call where it was confirmed, and suggested that I was lying. They terminated my contract with 7 days’ notice, causing me over £5,000 in losses (emergency moving, cancelled work, travel).
Staff were aggressive and dismissive. Asking them to follow their own rules was twisted into a “threat.” They refused to investigate properly, ignored my concerns, and sent emails full of legal inaccuracies.
If you care about fairness, the security for your belongings, and professionalism—stay far away.
UPDATE in response to their reply below:
Magenta continues to speak vaguely about “policy” while refusing to acknowledge that I was explicitly told I had 24-hour access. They still won’t release the call recording that confirms this. Their refund — which they now downplay — only came after legal pressure. No apology. No accountability.
They continue to side with their rude, aggressive call center staff over their clients, claiming she acted “outside her working hours.” If that’s true, why did she answer the company’s official phone line at all? That excuse alone says everything.
This is not how a professional company behaves — and if you read their reply below, you’ll see exactly how careless and dismissive this storage company is. Their reply alone is a red flag to stay away.

Thank you for your review. While we don’t discuss individual customer cases publicly, we’d like to clarify a few general points about our policies.
Our terms and conditions allow for immediate termination in cases involving illegal or environmentally harmful activity, or serious breaches. We also have a duty of care to protect our customers, their belongings, and the building.
This facility offers extended hours access, but not 24-hour access. This policy is in place as a preventative measure to help reduce the risk of inappropriate or unsafe activity. This is clearly communicated during the on-boarding process.
Regarding your comments about a member of our team, We’re sorry to hear you were dissatisfied, especially as our team member went out of her way to assist you outside of both your allocated access hours and her own working hours.
We’re sorry for the outcome, as we genuinely value all of our customers. However, our duty to maintain a safe and secure environment must come first, and we stand by the actions taken in line with that responsibility.
