I feel completely scammed by this…

I feel completely scammed by this experience for the game of thrones studio tour.

At no point during the purchase process was it clearly explained how the pricing structure actually works. After already paying £90 for the studio tour tickets, I have now spent an additional £60 on photos, only to be told that I must pay a further £40 if I want the digital videos. These are not bespoke products either, but pre-canned digital clips.

Had this been made transparent upfront, I would have made a very different decision. Instead, it feels like a deliberate drip-feed of costs once you are already committed.

This left a very sour taste on what should have been an enjoyable experience.

Aggressive Sales Tactics

Badly framed photos, cannot download the digital version, zero customer support, and many more issues.
They shouldn't be allowed to do business in New Zealand. Don't waste your money on these people.

Digital Photo Not Available!

As others have noted, you pay for digital pics, they give you a QR and it does not work. I wrote to them a month ago about our 2 missing pics. I gave them the code on the ticket, but they still asked for me to describe the picture and provide an approximate time it was taken. They sent 1 pic, but not the group photo the I need for our Christmas Card. Way to ruin our 2025 Christmas Card Magic Memories!

We got the WRONG picture and no exchange!

We purchased a picture at the Barcelona Football Stadium (FC Barcelona), at EUR 16,- which I find quite high ... but ok ... nevertheless we selected the background we wanted to have for memories.
BUT we received a different picture!!! All emails and requests remained without solution. We now have a picture that noone wants and noone selected and still paid EUR 16. And yes, we are very sure we selected the right one because it was the first picture shown on the page and there were three of us checking the screen. So no mistake possible. Never ever will I purchase a picture again if magicmemories is the provider. Bad memories only ...

Scam

I should have read the reviews before signing up. It was a scam 😩 I ended up giving them my personal information...
I couldn't get any photos.

It's a scam

It's a scam. I bought photos online and I never received anything. There is no phone number to call but there is an e-mail which was never answered.

DOES NOT PROVIDE DOWNLOADS. FALSE ADVERTISING.

We went to the London Zoo to meet Santa. They gave us a QR code to this site in order to purchase our photos. I spent £20 for 2 digital downloads. However, there is no way to download the photos. They keep it on their site and then apparently provide you a link to share the image with people. There is no way to download the images to print them. And if you want to access them beyond one year, you have to pay £3.99. They claim you are paying for a "digital download" but do not provide a digital download. Their customer service number says, "We are unable to take your call, submit an email claim." We will never use their company again and I am filing a claim with my credit card provider.

DONT buy any digital photos, you'll never get them. It's a scam

I purchased photos at the Edge. I originally bought a package for $37 which they told me included digital images. When i completed my experience they told me i needed to pay $27 more. When i have mentioned that I tried to buy everything in advance they agreed to just charge an additional $15. I gave in. They claimed a download button would appear in 5 minutes. Bi waited 10 minutes and then they said the internet was bad and it would definitely appear. It's been over 8 hours. I filled out the customer service form and got an auto reply that they are experiencing a large amount of service requests and they don't know when they'll get bak to me. I think I've been completely swindled.

Absolut rip off

Absolut rip off. I purchased an album of photos but as a result was able to download videos with images (??) and to make this even worse, the photos in the video clips were the pictures I had received for free from the provider who made the photos (The Shard in London). The photos I wanted to purchase I still don’t have. £11 pounds for nothing. Be careful with this service, you might purchase some memories but end up not being able to download the photos you wanted.

Avoid Magic Memories

Had an amazing visit to The View from the Shard in London. Excellent from start to finish but rather spoilt when I realised the 'complimentary photographs', taken by #MagicMemories on entering the building, aren't complimentary at all. They want a ridiculous amount for a download & extra to keep them on their website. We took our own fabulous memory pics & going forward I won't be conned by the fake promises of this company. I'll be advising The Shard of the sane. Avoid

Download Link Doesn't Work.

Said we can download pictures to print from the service. The photos were some of the worst quality pictures and the download link was broken. Shady service.

This is such a scam

This is such a scam, they set up their stands at kids places without any explanation, making it seem like it's a part of the attraction that you already paid for, then try to charge you $20 for a regular picture (digital, not printed) you could have taken with your phone, if they made it clear. There is also no option to make them delete the photos of your family.

Failed to Deliver Product

I purchased a set of photos and digital download to share with friends and family on 10-29-2022, but have yet to access the download. Several months later, the website (magicmemories.om) reports my photos are not ready. I've emailed the company and completed their contact form (twice), with no response. Although the photos were taken on the train (Great Smokey Mountains Railroad) in Bryson City, NC, they provide no U.S. telephone number. The best I could locate is a number in New Zealand. I recommend you enjoy your event, but take your own photos!
