Good machine- shame that the bowls are plastic

The engine seems strong. I made pumpkin seed butter and it took about 15 minutes with the knife attachment. The machine did not struggle at all.
I’ve grated cheese and carrots. Very quick - it takes longer to clean the bowls afterwards! a little tip is to put the cheese in the freezer for a little bit before grating it - the cheddar got a bit sticky.
Hummus was super quick to make.
What I am disappointed with is that there is no option to upgrade the bowls to glass or stainless steel. The clear lid would be enough to see what is going on in the bowl even if the bowl would be stainless steel. I have an Ankarsrum stand mixer, and they gave me an option to upgrade the whisking bowl to stainless steel, which I did. So it should be possible to make this improvement for magimix too.

We also appreciate your feedback about the bowl material. Our processors currently use high-strength BPA-free polycarbonate bowls as they’re very durable and allow full visibility during processing, but we understand that some customers would prefer options such as stainless steel or glass. We’ll certainly pass your suggestion on to our product development team for consideration in the future.

Great long lasting products

Great long lasting products. I emailed them after one part of my food processor was damaged. They replied within a day and sent out a new part with no fuss. Great company.

Superb Service

Satisfied Happy Customer

The customer care team is great. I asked for a change of colour after I'd placed my order, and they helped me out with the delivery process for the colour I wanted. The process was a breeze and went really smoothly. I'm really pleased with my new blender. It's a big step up from my old Ninja, which was so loud and not very efficient. My Magimix is much better. I can make my ginger shots in just 1 minute at speed 3 or 4. No problem for the motor. I'm now a daily smoothie fan, and I keep them in a personal-size vase.
I'm pretty satisfied customer!
Looking forward to do more recipes from the book. Also the glass jar it looks very stylish in my kitchen.

Good website - excellent product

The Magimix website was easy to negotiate and informative.
I had previously owned a small Magimix food processor and was very happy with it.
I was attracted by the price - it was more economical to buy a larger machine than to opt for the smaller version
Plenty of accessories supplied + a useful comprehensive cook book.
The guarantee for the motor is exceptional and it’s good to know that parts are available for years to come
Unfortunately I felt I had to return this item as it was far too heavy and bulky for me to use and I do not have the space to store all of the accessories.
The return process was easy to follow.
A small guide pamphlet to operate the food processor would have been useful rather than just a cookbook alone.

Needlessly poor liaison between Magimix and their courier

Initial purchase was good but Magimix did not provide tracking information for the blender but merely said the courier would provide details. After waiting 3 days for a message from the courier, I sent an email to Magimix asking for tracking information. The information provided did work ! (due to staffing issues at the couriers apparently). Finally received the blender only to find out one of the feet was missing so it was unstable. They sent replacement feet quickly fortunately and so far the blender is meeting my expectations.
The customer service department is swift to reply but not providing customers with tracking information and being reliant on the courier company is, in my opinion, very poor service as, ultimately Magimix are responsible for ensuring the goods arrive safely. It appeared that they had no idea that the courier had not been in touch - needs addressing.

Easy-to-use website

Easy-to-use website, and the price was the same in all the other online stores, including Amazon and eBay. It made sense to me to buy directly from the Magimix website. (UK)
I have enjoyed my first experience with a slicer of this kind. It feels safe to use if you follow the guidelines. Easy to dismantle and clean too. I used a 2p coin to undo the blade lock, and it fitted perfectly.

New Blender

We bought a new blender from Magimix during the Black Friday week. Everything went well, got delivered what we ordered. The blender is robust, works well, not too loud compared to some others we have used, and hopefully it lasts for many years to come.

Poor experience purchasing a damaged 3200XL food processor online

Purchased 3200XL food processor online. When it arrived the item was damaged and I sent by email a video and photos showing fault and damaged packaging. Item collected 4 days later and refund finally arrived 11 days after collection. Very difficult dealing with customer services as they respond to emails over 24 hours later. If there had been a phone number to call it would have been very helpful but there is not one available.

Sorry to hear your food processor arrived damaged on delivery and that this affected your overall experience. While we take great care to package our products securely, damage can occasionally occur during transit due to factors outside our control, and we appreciate you emailing us photos and a video so we could resolve the issue for you.

On the same day that our Customer Care team received report of the damaged delivery, a collection of the damaged item and a replacement machine was offered. As you preferred a refund, the team arranged a collection for the earliest date that was convenient for you.

Once the item was collected, the refund was processed in line with our policy, which allows up to 14 days for returned items to be received, inspected, and refunded. We appreciate that waiting for this process to be completed can be frustrating, even when it is within our standard timescales.

Our Customer Care team aims to respond to all enquiries within one working day, and we confirm that your messages were replied to within this timeframe. While we understand your comments regarding phone support, this service has recently been removed, and our team did everything possible to support you via our online service desk during this period.

We are sorry to hear you did not have a positive purchasing experience and would like to extend our thanks again for taking the time to leave a review.
