Magrent is a scam!! Avoid at all cost. Their person in Warsaw was awful, the car had wipers that barely worked, the fluid line must have had a leak because the smell was horrible when I tried to wash my windshield. The headlight was broken. They took my whole deposit of $1080 under false pretends of scratches and dents.
They take advantage of the travelers.

I wanted to write a review and I am surprised to see so many bad comments. We rented our car via Ryanair and Addcar. We got the service from Magrent. The communication was excellent. The staff was very nice. We got picked from the Gdansk airport (as their office is not in the Terminal), there was no waiting time, we got a nice car, the pick up procedure was quick and easy. The drop off was also quick and easy. We got dropped to the Terminal. We would highly recommend the company. We will definitely be getting more cars from this company in the future. Thank you for your service.

Avoid ! Scam ! Early return sent wrong location by them for purpose and than charge me 100€ for it !! No comunication whatsoever !!

A complete shower of scamming inconsiderate con men. My wife is now stranded in Kraków Airport with our disabled 5yr old after Autounion/Magrent representatives tried to pawn her off with a car that was not roadworthy. The wiper blade rubber is completely separated from the body of the wiper and clearly hanging down away from the window. How is this roadworthy? It's a major safety factor when driving to have working wipers. When she pointed this out they said they would glue it back on. She said no that's not acceptable so they then offered her other car options. All four cars they showed my wife had faulty wiper blades and were filthy. Thankfully she did not put her or our childs life in the hands of these con men and refused to drive these scrap vehicles. The cars were also filthy outside and inside and far from looked after. If that's how they present a car to you then don't imagine for one minute the maintenance and mechanical end of things is any better. Please don't book with these companies. Pathetic.

We booked a car rental through Autounion UK, but upon arrival,( Gdansk airport) we discovered the actual rental company was called Magrent. After landing on time, I contacted them and was instructed to go to an office located about 300 meters from the airport. However, when we arrived, no one was there. We had to wait 20–30 minutes before a representative showed up to complete the paperwork.

We received a different car than the one we had booked, but since the size was similar, we accepted it. We had booked the car for two weeks with a drop-off at a different airport, 1,200 km away( Kraków airport) , so we expected a reliable vehicle. Unfortunately, the car we received was six years old with 130,000 km on the clock. It also had a dashboard warning indicating immediate service was required, and the windscreen washer fluid was empty.

To make matters worse, the interior was dirty, and the seats were stained. We reported all this immediately to the Magrent representative, but she said there was nothing she could do and no replacement vehicle was available — it was either this car or none. I asked for a supervisor to contact me the next day, which she agreed to, but no one ever followed up. My emails went unanswered, and when I called, they simply said the car was roadworthy and I should ignore the warning light.

We had two important family ceremonies during our trip, and we were concerned that the stained seats would damage our formal clothes, so we had to use blankets for protection.

When we returned the car after two weeks, no one was present to inspect it or confirm the return of the deposit. We were told it would take 24 hours to process. Later, I received a signed return confirmation document — supposedly signed by me — but I never signed anything.

Overall, I would strongly advise avoiding this company. The experience was unprofessional and far below the standard of service any customer should expect.

We booked a car through discovery cars from autounion in Poznań airport.
Guy from Autounion said there is no car for us. He said cars being booked without ealier checking if they are available. Bit because we had children with us he phoned boss and they got us a car. Car wasn't ready/cleaned for us hut we had ko choice to take it otherwise we would have to spend loads of time and money again in new car.
We booked it so we can return it at Gdańsk Airport at Magrent Gdansk airport. We had to do it before agreed time and there was no other way.
We got massage from Magrent we've been charged over 250€ for breaking the contract, 50€ for returning at wrong hour and 30€ for returning dirty car.
When from the beginning they haven't fulfilled their side of contract. I don't mind paying for charge for wrong time but breaking the contract is totally unacceptable.

Avoid this company, pay more for rent a car, it will be cheaper.
I returned the car in excellent condition and received a record that everything was fine with the car. While I was on the plane, they charged me 516 euros on my credit card. When I asked for an explanation, they said that the car had an unpleasant smell and was dirty. They no longer answered my messages, when I asked for a refund.
Be careful, these are scammers.

Car was clean, everything was perfect. And the service was also excellent.

Shady company, no clear policies and practices, and steal money from you without consent at every small chance they have, so beware. On top of that, support in inexistent. I’d advise customers to pay a bit more and get a serious rental car.

Rent car twice.Both times no problem. Like cars and service. My only advice for company would be to make sure fuel tank is full at the time they rent a car as it is easier for customer on the day they need to return vehicle.

Worst renting car comapny I had experience with, we put half the tank too much fuel and guy said we cant have the money back also they have

Make sure you make all picture before you take car because they will charge you in other case for Fuel or damage. If you want to be covered, really take picture. From my point of view they are not a trustable company. NEVER AGAIN
We order as well a kinder sit, it was really expensive and really dirt, really dirt. NEVER AGAIN

UPDATE: after a call with Operational Directory, we found an agreement and I think I will back to rent with them. They show me how serious they are.

Had a very good experience with renting a car from Poznan airport. Everything was fine, quick, and professional. Customer service was really good, they were helpful and flexible (I needed to change pick up and drop off times, and then additionally delay the drop off, and there was no issue at all)

Nice customer service. I had to made last minute change to drop of point. Changed my plans and instead of dropping car at 5am on Modlin airport i had to drop it at 3am at Chopin airport. Even though I contacted them at 10pm day before they still made no problem about the change and all was smooth. Only thing that was bad was that the information that they require you to have credit card is not highlighted enough and if you dont have it you need to pay extra insurance.

At Warsaw Modlin Airport, cars are not located on-site. It is difficult to find the driver who takes us to the storage area. Arriving at 1 a.m., I had to leave my family (with young children) alone at the airport because the vehicle supposed to transport us was too small to accommodate all of us.

We traveled for 10 minutes to reach a poorly lit and unpaved parking area, making it impossible to detect potential vehicle defects. The car was extremely dirty, both inside and outside, and smaller than the one I had originally booked, which was problematic for accommodating 5 people and two large suitcases.

The return is at the same location, but it is difficult to locate. The assistance numbers do not always respond.

No one was present to retrieve the car. Furthermore, the driver supposed to take me to the airport did not speak a word of English, and the telephone assistance stopped responding.

After 50 minutes of stress (I almost missed my flight), an employee from a neighboring private parking lot offered to take me to the airport and took the keys to the vehicle. Unable to contact anyone, I accepted, even though this solution lacked professionalism.

In summary, at Warsaw Modlin, it is better to choose a rental company directly present at the airport to avoid these numerous inconveniences.
In General, avoid this Company. The worst I ever had in term of car rental.

The company does'nt have desk at the airport, you have to call several times, first to the office, then to the driver. I'm waiting for the car for over an hour. I got dirty, the personel apologized for this condition. When the car was returned, the driver who picked it up had a lot of grievances that the car was dirty and unwashed (even though I would return it in a better condition than I picked it up). The attendant was very rude, I'm very unpleasantly surprised

The worst company that I ever use on the market. Poznań Ławica Airport, the company charge for insurance but they didn't provide evidences. They charge fee for rental the car and double price for insurance which was fake, because they don't have the right to sell insurance on the market. The issue reported to Police in Poland. Please avoid this company,they are thieves !!! Actually I have paid double price for the car, because they forced people to buy insurance.

They literally made us wait 40 minutes to give the car back. We almost lost our flight because of this! Never rent a car here!! It’s horrible. Bad service and bad old cars.

They also made me pay extra for someone to come at 5.00 AM to collect the car.
