As a long-time user and recently…
As a long-time user and recently onboarded Mailchannels fully to my web hosting business, I have had a really positive experience. Support is fine; it could be a bit faster, but when the niche is critical, they respond fast, which is what matters.
We switched from Spam Experts to Mailchannels for outbound checks, and honestly, all the issues disappeared. Mail was consistently sent, and we received no complaints from clients. Even during migration, since we set it up correctly with their help, clients didn't experience a single email of downtime, which was great.
I used it for the past four years on my personal inbox, and now that I migrated to the hosting business for my clients, I am very satisfied with everything, so good job team. Please keep up the good work.
If you continue to improve the service with some minor adjustments to the signup process and the panel, the product will be even better.
Overall, I'm satisfied and would love to see how it goes in the long term. I believe they will improve it. The price is fine; they did raise it recently, but while I'm not impacted yet, hopefully, I won't be.
Worst email filtering service
Easily the worst email filtering service currently in operation. Literally worse than useless.
Since Dreamhost made the mistake of switching to Mailchannels, the number of spam email and especially phish email I've received has skyrocketed. Phishers love Mailchannels, because it's incredibly poor at detecting phish emails. A well-organized phish ring targeting Dreamhost has been active since almost the day Dreamhost started using Mailchannels.
Mailchannels relies on AI to spot scam and phish emails, but their AI is terrible. It's so bad it even allows old-school Nigerian 419 "We want to inform you that a Nigerian prince wishes to send money to you" emails through!
It also acts as its own SMTP relay so that when you receive spam and phish emails--which you will, oh yes, believe me--you can't look at the headers to see where the emails came from.

A trusted Canadian vendor!
We specifically required a Canadian data centre for our email handling and were delighted to connect with the sales team at MailChannels. We now have excellent analytics on the health of our SMTP sending from our website. Setting up our account was very easy and the periodic reports on our SMTP system health are very useful.
Hello MailChannels Support Team,
Hello MailChannels Support Team,
I recently tried to sign up for a MailChannels account and received the following message:
"We couldn't complete your signup because it was flagged as potentially fraudulent. Please contact support if you believe this is a mistake. [Error code: 100] [Case ID: 68fa225a05ec21.83205819]"
I believe this happened because I unintentionally created two accounts while trying to complete the registration.
I represent Mozserver, a legitimate hosting provider based in Mozambique, and we would like to use MailChannels to improve the deliverability and reputation of our clients' outgoing emails.
Our main domain: mozserver.co.mz
Please remove the block and allow us to proceed with one verified account.
We’re happy to confirm any details needed for verification.
Thank you very much for your understanding and assistance.
Best regards,
Gabriel Oliveira

This company is a spam
This company is a spam
Merchant. I get probably 20-50 emails a day from this joke of a company. I submit to unsubscribe and it bounces back as undeliverable on every single one. I forward to support and ask them to remove my email address and they just ignore it and say there’s nothing they can do. Anyone interested in filing a class action suit against this spam
Merchant
I have been contacted by mail channels with the same bs excuse as always. We have no control over what our customers send. The tell me there is no way to block my email address from there servers. I will just continue to send all bad reviews about this spamming company and forward all my spam emails to their support email until they decide it actually is possible to block my email address from their spam servers.
Anyone looking for an actual email serving company beware

This service blocks legitimate emails…
This service blocks legitimate emails constanly. Their spam filter is horrible. Do Not use this service unless you want the majority of your emails to be blocked. Horrible experience and they do absolutely nothing to help or fix it.

Reliable and Essential for Email Delivery
We've been using MailChannels since 2014, and it's been a game-changer for our email infrastructure. Their smart outbound filtering has significantly improved our deliverability rates and helped us maintain a solid sending reputation across all domains.
One of the biggest advantages is how MailChannels automatically identifies and quarantines compromised accounts before they can damage our IP reputation. This has saved us countless hours of manual monitoring and remediation.
Support has always been responsive and knowledgeable, even when we’ve had complex questions about SMTP integration or delivery logs. The dashboard is clear and easy to use, with real-time analytics that help us stay on top of everything.
If you're managing multi-tenant email or running shared hosting environments, MailChannels is practically essential. It just works — and that peace of mind is priceless.
Highly recommended.

Biggest pile of rubbish going
Biggest pile of rubbish going. Mailchannels simply eats outgoing and incoming mail on our web server, our host - Krystal - seems unable to communicate with Mailchannels effectively and admits that the false positive reports do not get back to them. Mail is filtered and binned totally - no chance to get it back unlike with other solutions - even if similar mail has gone through the filter on hundreds of previous occasions. Have had to reroute the majority of our business emails away from our own domains due to this complete junk.
***EDIT***
You've asked " If you can share specific message details".
This isn't going to really help. In the last month alone, you've blocked over 20 messages from UPS.COM, multiple from Paypal.com, a number from Royalmail.com and even some from HMRC that were genuine. I had to stop using eBay on addresses that pass through your lousy system ages ago because it was so unreliable and you even blocked multiple emails from Amazon. If you can't identify genuine emails from the largest companies and marketplaces in the world, your service is by definition junk. Search your own logs for UPS for example, you block so many of them it's a good place to start!

Our Customers love MailChannels

Our clients love the enhanced reliability and security that MailChannels brings to their communication. We offer Mailchannels to all our shared, reseller, and VPS Hosting
Just Terrible
Terrible. If they aren't missing genuine spam and letting it through, then they're flagging genuine email as spam. This is based on over 10 years experience with them. I'd change to a different service, but MailChannels is included with the hosting package and it would too time consuming to change all my domains over, plus I'd have to pay extra for each domain.
Avoid at all costs.

Mailchannels suspended a brand of us due to an international payment issue.
This has caused ALL of our Cpanel to not send emails
Biggest Problem is that their managers and billing team were not able to restore this in a reasonable time frame.
This has cause our whole webhosting brand to go down for hours.
DONT USE THEIR SERVICE IF YOU RUN CRITICAL MAIL SERVICES

One of the worst services out there…
One of the worst services out there that unfortunately webhosts use and i hope every webhost transitions from this useless service to another.
Our email is only used to send out Order confirmations, Order Updates (tracking for shipments), abandoned cart (once per order after 48 hours) & review reminders (once per order).
Just because maybe a few probably 1-2 in our opinion as we do not run a large business maybe clicked spam on our email, they decided to block all outgoing emails today. So we couldn't update customers on their shipments, nothing!
Their response? "Uhh don't worry but we can't unblock this, you will have to wait for our auto system to unblock your email which is based on when spam reports get lower". No time frame nothing. What a joke of a company acting as god of emails.
I hope your company suffers a fast downfall!

MailChannels is the worst
MailChannels is the worst. They block legitimate WooCommerce email. I don't understand why hosting provider used it. When a new order is placed it send two emails, one to customer and one is for the shop. They block the shop emails. They say it is spam. Really, a WooCommerce email is spam. If someone accidentally marked is spam, don't let it go to that inbox only, what about the other customer?
I even setup Brevo for it. They still block the emails. Why?
I contacted the hosting provider and they said they can't do anything about it except asking us to buy email sending SMPT.
This is the second time I am facing it for my customer.

What a joke of a company
What a joke of a company. A Russian spammer used our form to submit some kind of spam iPhone link and our form is set to send a confirmation email back once we received your registration and mail channel decided to block ALL our outgoing emails for half a day on our most busiest day Monday. It took almost 12 hours to solve this issue and guess what? They can’t resend all the important emails our customers were supposed to receive but were blocked by them.
Hosting companies need to stop using this idiotic email company !

MailChannels was not trustworthy
MailChannels is not trustworthy. I started my service on 10/31/2023 and paid on the same date. I activated my account, added the SMTP to Postfix on my servers, and everything was working great. Up until I began receiving tickets from customers that their emails weren't sending - I'm very confused because MailChannels is known for their deliverability and that's why I'm paying the big bucks. So I check the console and lo and behold, my account is labeled "Status: Canceled". I received no warning, I have no spam as far as I know, and I've only ever managed to send less than 200 emails before this happened. My SMTP isn't working with them and I can't easily move back to my previous provider because I have to change Postfix and then update the SPF for all accounts manually on my end! I have no choice but to weather very upset customers who rely on email as the life-blood of their business. Customer's forms aren't working, their business emails aren't working, everything is dead in the water, and all because I wanted to provide my customers a higher level of service — I'd heard from everyone, after all, that MailChannels is the best. I learned my lesson. As of writing this, my services have ben interrupted for 2 and a half hours. Anyone in the hosting world knows that this is insane. I can provide receipts, anything necessary to prove my point.
Update:
MailChannels sales reached out to me and apologized, along with refunding my first month of fees. I felt the email was sincere and refunding the first month's fees is good customer service, so I'm updating my review to 3 stars.
Here's the email they sent me:
"[My name],
I deeply regret the disruption you experienced with our email services. It's clear that this sudden cancellation by our fraud detection system had significant implications for your business and clients, especially during such a critical moment in your meeting. The lack of notification regarding account cancellation and the potential loss of emails for the past three hours is genuinely concerning.
Email is, as you rightly pointed out, the life-blood of many businesses, including your customers. Unfortunately, the incident you described falls short of the standards we aim to maintain. I completely understand the gravity of this situation and the potential repercussions it has on your business's reputation.
We are already working on a thorough investigation of what led to this lapse, and I want you to know that we will take the necessary steps to prevent these occurrences in the future. As a goodwill gesture, we will refund your first month of fees.
Your feedback is invaluable, and I appreciate your patience as we work through this. We are committed to regaining your trust."
