Damaged furniture

The furniture arrived damaged, but it was clearly sent already damaged and not damaged due to transportation (it was wrapped in bubble wrap). I contacted customer service and provided photos, but they were neither helpful nor understanding. They even blamed me for not refusing the delivery on the spot, despite the fact that I had ordered multiple pieces of furniture. In the end, they offered an exchange or a refund only if I arranged for the return shipping myself, which I declined. Ultimately, I was given a CHF 20 voucher.

In the shop in Crissier the people are…

In the shop in Crissier the people are wonderful - especially Ryan is amazing.

The client service online is a nightmare - I got damaged goods, not possible to get clear instructions - calling twice - sending the pictures - getting asked to send them again - no follow up - not even the email to send them pictures 2nd time. This is really has been horriblz

Worst online experience so far!

Worst online experience so far!

I thought they are a serious company, until I decided to buy a commode from them. This is so far the worst experience I have had in an online shop, and I'm very happy that the other furniture for my home I haven't ordered them from Maison du Monde (read Maison du Douleur)!

First the delivery is a nightmare. Planzer delivery is only once a week passing through cities and suburbs in CH, and the guys do not call. They may write to you and tell you to wait home but they never arrive, or not bother to inform you via a phone call.

Wait is more important: the service of Maison du Torture, is awful. Not the people answering the phone, but the directors, or the managers. We paid 1000 CHF since mid September, and until mid November we had not received anything. And when we did receive the order, we got a wrong furniture. Imagine ordering apples, and getting oranges. But this can happen, and it can be fixed. But guess what: they don't have it anymore.

I spent hours calling them, going to the shop, and writing emails, but they are so slow in support and so careless, that you can't imagine. In the mean time the wrong furniture is occupying the entrance hall and waiting for the delivery team to come and take it.
They won't refund me immediately for the mistakes they have made and I have to wait until they get back their stupid delivery to get back my money. What a promise of good service and satisfaction! - even Dogcoin would do better!

They also do not give you a voucher, or a discount voucher to apologize for their troubles and mistakes made, let alone for taking my money for nearly 3 months and not giving me any service.

I miss the days when online shopping was easy, you buy something and it's rightly delivered to your house. And if problems occur you receive an apology and a quick service to solve the issue quickly. Or maybe it was I shopped in the wrong shop.

Goodbye Maison du Torture, and I hope to never hear from you again.
