I liked hearing the language but the tutor spoke too fast and some of the examples were very complicated and simpler dialogs would be more useful

Had an issue with the app hearing me correctly and appeared to have a glitch. I reached out to support and within a day or two the glitch had been eradicated and the app now works perfectly.

I'm using MakesyouFluent to improve my Italian
I have been using MakesyouFluent for four months to improve my Italian. I'm retired and it's one of my main hobbies. I've worked my way through the levels up to C1. There have been some minor glitches. But considering the sophistication of the app, it is hardly surprising. I reported one problem to the customer support, they replied within 24 hours, and their advice fixed the problem. I've had hours of enjoyment using the app, and I think it is very good value for money.

I tried 3 different languages/ you are obliged to speak english before learning another language, because you can't have french to spanish ou french to portuguese or italian!
It is perfect to get confidence in speaking but there still are somme bugs and I regularly write to the team to explain what is wrong: they always answer!
It is quite good to get vocabulary and use it

⭐☆☆☆☆ App full of glitches — refused refund despite not working
I subscribed to Makes You Fluent on 1 April to learn Spanish, but the app has been full of problems from day one. It glitches constantly and simply doesn’t work as advertised.
I contacted the company for help, but nothing was fixed. When I asked to cancel and requested a refund for the first payment, they refused — instead offering me a 70% discount on future subscriptions, which is pointless when the app itself doesn’t function properly.
They keep quoting their long terms and conditions, but that doesn’t change the fact that the service wasn’t delivered. Very disappointing experience, and I wouldn’t recommend it based on how they handle issues

Very happy with my investment
I was initially hesitant about the cost but decided to go for the longer subscription, and I'm very glad I did. The quality and quantity of content available is well above what I expected. Just two months in and I already feel I've gotten my money's worth. Happy customer here.

Good value for committed learners.
If you're serious about learning a language, the subscription is well worth it. The content library is extensive and I've never felt like I ran out of things to learn. I'd give five stars if the premium add-ons were bundled more clearly upfront, but the core product is excellent value.

BUYER BEWARE - this is a SCAM
There was a lot of hype about the benefits of this program. So, I signed up for it to try to improve my fluency in Korean. The program uses a Korean native speaker speaking at such a high speed as to make it extremely difficult to hear the nuances of pronunciation. This deficit was acknowledged by the customer service rep I spoke with AFTER they took my payment, which occurred BEFORE I could try out the program. When I requested a refund as the program was not useful to me, I was told that it is against their "policy" to provide a refund even though they acknowledge that their program has a deficit that was not clear at the time of subscription and that it was, therefore, my fault for not having determined the adequacy of the program for my needs before subscribing. They did send me a link to cancel my subscription but when I use the link I don't get the promised acknowledgement that my subscription will not be renewed. This is a SCAM.
