Excellent Service

Was a little concerned having read some mixed reviews but ultimately my experience was excellent.
Perfume ordered Saturday 23rd November
Perfume delivered Thursday 28th November
Communication was spot on throughout in terms of confirmations along with courier allocation and tracking etc. with delivery completed ahead of schedule.

I ordered a mascara

I ordered a mascara. I never received any confirmation at all and I did request a confirmation by emailing them.
My parcel did however turn up in good time, but it was the wrong one. I have filled out the form to request an exchange and have sent the email but no response at all. I just want to exchange my product. I would have put a good review but this has now changed my opinion on the website. Go to a genuine website and pay the extra as it’s not worth the hassle using a company like this that has poor customer service. I wonder if I’ll ever get a response to my emails.

Potential buyers beware

Potential buyers beware! Not sure if this is a scam but I placed a perfume order on 10 November 2024 (10 days ago). I received an initial confirmation, which seemed normal but gave no delivery date so one week later I sent them an email (to the email address given on the order confirmation) requesting to know the delivery date. No response has been received despite chasing again so I am now wondering if this is a bona fide merchant or just yet another scam operation. Either way, I would not recommend to anyone to deal with them and I now wish I hadn't.

Awful

Awful. Ordered my product over a week ago, tracking said they tried to deliver but it had a different delivery address to the order confirmation. Chased up a delivery date and was told by Victoria it could take up to a week for an update. I then asked for a refund and was told I had to send an email. Asked for a supervisor but they apparently don't have phones and to send an email. A very could not care less attitude !!!

Disappointingly slow delivery

Disappointingly slow delivery. It took over three weeks from ordering for the products to arrive. Courier was Evri who I don’t usually have an issue with but the delays seemed to be in getting the goods to the courier and then the courier taking an unusually long time to process. I had intended to gift my friend one of the products but the parcel arrived too late to give as a birthday gift and I had to purchase something else which was annoying. I don’t plan to order from them again

I ordered from this company and all…terrible customer service

I ordered from this company and all went well until Evri delivered to a different address to mine.
I contacted both companies and explained the situation to Makeup, that Evri had taken full responsibility for this mistake and would contact Makeup themselves to try to sort, but also for me to contact Makeup too, to try to resolve the problem as quickly as possible.
I have contacted them so many times,I have lost count!! I copied emails from Evri to me accepting responsibility, to them, and in the end Evri suggested I contact my bank to get my money back.
Customer service at Makeup is appalling and I would never buy from them again, and recommend others avoid if you don’t want to lose money! It is not their fault that Evri made a mistake, but neither is it mine and I have had no help whatsoever from them.

Do not Trust - you may not get your items

Ordered my items, they sent me the wrong item which was a much lower value so conned me out of money by charging me a higher priced item. Contacted them numerous times by email and website . No interest. They have no customer service! You may well loose your money completely.

Companies like this should be shut down as they are trading on false promises. Have no desire to fulfil the order you placed.

They have written a response defending that they sent the right product.. not true, as I've a picture of the one they sent to the one on the order confirmation. The gall of them stating how we'd like to help you further?? No emails returned, no answer to their phone. Pitiful and utterly pathetic business.

They said that their system doesn't…

They said that their system doesn't recognise my post code, so they asked me to pick my order up from a parcel shop. Also, I am still waiting for their approval of my return request..

I've read some customer comments and I think that maybe it would be better to keep the item just in case they don't make a refund when I send the parcel back to them.

Unfortunately, when an address cannot be identified in the system, we offer either to provide an alternative one (it could be a friend`s or neighbour`s, Parcelshop) or to cancel the order. For us it is really important to do everything we can to make sure the parcel gets delivered to the correct address. Moreover, if there was some issue with the address, the parcel could get lost during transportation.

Don't usually leave reviews but felt…

Don't usually leave reviews but felt that this comany needs some positive feedback from my experience.
I ordered some aftershave on 24/10/24 tracking number was generated on the 25th and it's been successfuly delivered today. Had no problems whatsoever with ordering and receiving the parcel. I would definitely use MAKEUP again.

I would give 0 stars if there was an…

I would give 0 stars if there was an option.I odered lip balm which was delivered to the wrong address.Evri sent me an email confirming delivery location which was different to my address.I contacted customer service but the investigation takes ages,they dont feel responsible for the delivery, absolutely shocking approach.Other companies would refund money and appologise but not this one.DO NOT WASTE YOUT MONEY,ORDER FROM SOMEONE ELSE!!!!

Following up from your Trust Pilot reply. The order number I quoted was e mailed to me as I can produce. The amount of €55.90 was deducted from my bank account as I can produce also. Transaction Date the 28th of Sept 2024 at 9.43 and Processed Date 30th September 2024. So I would

HIGHLY RECOMMEND

This was my first time ordering from the company. I didn't realise they are situated in Poland, but that was fine. My order duly arrived a little later than if it had been a UK company, but the makeup was perfect, everything I ordered was correct and well packed. I would definitely recommend them and will order again.

I ordered for the first time with mixed…

I ordered for the first time with mixed feelings after reading the reviews and thought I'd give it a try.
My parcel arrived, perfectly packaged within a1 good timescale.
Plus free perfume samples.

Placed a large order

Placed a large order. Order never delivered to shipping address, instead it was redirected back to their facility. Refund never issued. Their phonr line is eirher disconnected or "busy". I've sent several inquiries via their only forum -email. Requested call backs on their call back option. Nothing.

Don't risk ordering - this is what happened to me

I ordered a perfume for a good price. It was supposed to have arrived by 25/09/24 latest. Now 3.5 weeks later it still hasn't arrived. I took it up with Make-up UK and customer services said they would start an investigation with Evri (the delivery service) - that involved two communications with customer services. I have since written three times for an update with no response. Today I rang them and they still have no resolution for me. It seems they are just sitting on the results of an investigation by Evri (who knows how long that will be) with no attempt to solve this for me the customer and no indication of how long it will be before there is a satisfactory resolution. I still want the perfume it is still in stock. The issue is between them and Evri so I feel the sensible solution would be to send me a replacement and recover the item from Evri or recover the cost through whatever their arrangement is, not leave their customer hanging! I'm very unhappy about this experience and will be reluctant to risk ordering again from Makeup UK.
