I recently attended an amazing Photoshop seminar that was both educational and enjoyable. Despite being a novice and often finding the software perplexing, the instructors made the content easy to grasp and fun. Participants of all ages joined in, and it was a wonderful experience for everyone!

Absolutely fantastic session hosted by Ian Pye of Mako Create at Bury Send Hub today on lego animation. Really thoughtful, interested and caring approach to all the children and really easy to follow steps. Would definitely recommend. (Father of SEND child attendee)

We love Mako Create, a great variety of sessions for creative kids and fully inclusive too. It’s opened a new world for my son and great to have some family sessions too.

My children have attended quite a few clubs organised and run by Mako Create including retro video game design, film-making, coding and digital art. They enjoy the sessions, have the chance to be creative and learn new skills. The staff that run the workshops are excellent, great with children with additional needs and make the sessions fun.

Before the start, they sent a really useful email that details location, leaders that will be present and photographs as a visual guide. This is a perfect example of their inclusivity.

I would highly recommend anyone with the opportunity to try them out.

Useful skills introduced and experience shared through a lively and interactive professional presentation. Highly recommended for beginners. Would definitely join the advanced workshops should the opportunities arise in future.

Really enjoyed the workshop at Deansgate. The team is very professional and patient and fun to work with. The skills they taught us is very useful and practical to use in everyday life and work.

Just did a great photoshop workshop. Learnt so much and had a lovely time. Very new to photoshop and it has always confused me however, the team made it super digestible and enjoyable to understand. Our workshop had all ages attend and everyone had a great time!

The Animation Exploration Workshop for children in Runcorn was thoroughly enjoyed by our daughter. She felt safe and found the activity very engaging. She was keen to go every day and would definitely go to another workshop. All the staff were attentive, pleasant and communications to parents was very good.

My 11 year old daughter went on 2 courses with Mako Halton during this 2 week half term. The first was for creating a retro game & the 2nd was for animation & she loved both & the work they did was just incredible! The staff were so lovely & friendly. Will defo keep an eye out for more. :)

My son attended & loved it. The staff were amazing, kept it varied which kept him interested. I do hope they continue to run as is great for the children.

My son attended the Halton Half term club and he loved it. My son has attended many courses they have run and they are excellent well planned and all the kids have fun. I hope they continue to offer more and more as my son has attended many groups but not that are really any interest to him but he can't wait to tell me all he's done when he gets out of the mako classes. The staff are very professional but very friendly and they really do get the kids engaged

Superb well run event over multiple sites. Good communication. Very clear to me how to get the best of the event despite not being from Halton. Lots of engaging makers.

attended the Halton make fest with my 2 girls, they absolutely loved every bit of it and didnt have a single bad thing to say about any of it. enjoyed by all the family. cant wait for the next one!!

Excellent animation sessions for my 12yr old, she loved every minute. The team were knowledgeable and friendly throughout. Looking forward to more in the future.
