Unsatisfactory 'beginners' quilting kit as a…

Bought a 'beginners' quilting kit as a gift.

Very shoddy instructions
- 2 colourways in one and one illustrated in reverse
- Some imperial some metric measures which do not exactly correspond.
- No way to understand which piece of fabric is which as 5 identical sizes. Spent over an hour working this out.

'Star' shapes are much too difficult for a beginner to sew.

Colours of cloth don't match the colours of the illustrated final item.

Decided to redesign the whole thing using the fabric and create own clear instructions which the beginner gift receiver can use.

Therefore turns out to be a high price to pay for a few pieces of cloth.

Definitely do not recommend.
