Scam Business That Refuses Refunds and Tells You to Wait Instead

After waiting a reasonably long time to receive items from Malay Apparel, they chased up with the courier and told me to wait. I had to keep asking them for updates and finally found out the item was still in transit but was scanned as damaged by the courier. I asked for my order to be cancelled and receive a refund as the item is damaged so I am rejecting it. Instead of agreeing, they refused to refund me on multiple occasions which is unlawful and told me to wait to receive items Instead of compensating me first. Stay clear.

Buyer beware!

Bay Ecom UK Ltd. (Also trading as Malay Apparel.)

The business model for this company it to source garments from ‘sweat shop’ in the Subcontinent, Asia, and China.
They advertise them as a more premium item on third party websites.
Then send you cheap rubbish.
Ripping off people at every stage.

Awful company

They have no size chart on their website. I thought the size I picked would be okay. To make sure I had a quick look around the web. I found the same items on TEMU who did have a size chart. It was at that point I realised that what I ordered would be too small. Within thirty minutes or so of ordering I contacted them to cancel the order. They send orders out before you have had chance to change your order. They said they had sent them. I don’t believe that for a second. Yes they gave me a Royal Mail tracking number so they may have prepared it for dispatched. There is no way they could have got my order to a post office or picked up that quickly. They were just being difficult. They are rude to customers and are very sarcastic in their responses. They are refusing to give me my money back which they have no right to do. Avoid!!!! Noticed they have bad reviews around the web too.

Sent for a knitted poncho on picture it…

Sent for a knitted poncho on picture it looked long when it arrived it was short so the model on picture must have been 3ft,explained this on my return but they said I’d dishonestly claimed it was different and returned item wasn’t in perfect condition which was absolutely terrible and for that reason took over 30% off my refund ,got in touch with eBay and they sorted it out and I did get my full refund it wasn’t even about the money but that they had accused me of returning it in a bad condition

Beware the return policy

You have to pay to send the item back but also the original delivery fee. They only refund what they consider to be the "sale" value. Steer clear

Absolute shocker of a service

Absolute shocker of a service. The customer service clerk was so abusive when communicating I nearly fell of my chair. Clearly this clerks English was non existent just like their customer service skills they portrait. Sadly eBay was no better.

Don't risk using this company

An absolutely awful company. I bought a loungewear set from them and was so pleased with its fit and quality that I ordered another set. The second top they supplied was fine but the shorts were cheap and nasty - a bad fit, a different style and inferior quality to the first pair supplied. They denied sending them, and after two weeks exchanging emails with them and getting nowhere they now just ignore me completely. Shoddy goods and dreadful customer service

If it was possible to give no stars I…

If it was possible to give no stars I would have given no stars .Poor Quality second rate material if it was any thinner it would have been invisible.The customer service was even worse ,bad company stay clear don’t waste your money

THE WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE EVER

THE WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE EVER. Extremely disappointed with this company as it was my first time ordering from them and paying for NEXT DAY DELIVERY, they delivered the complete wrong size!!!!! They sent SMALL bottom and an XL top!!! After contacting them to get it resolved and informing them that it was for my husband’s birthday this was their response : Hello,
Thank you for contacting us. Well, your order was Size Small and we did post the correct item. The size is Small Top and Small Bottom.
Could you send me the pictures of the item you received?
