At Colville Primary, we have had Catherine and her team teach djembe drumming to our year 6 classes and as an after school club to our younger pupils. The Year 6 children were thoroughly engaged, loving every moment as did the adults who joined in. As an after school club, the pupils are having fun while learning to play the drums together. Catherine and her drummers excel at working with all children.

Cassandra Centre held a drumming session presented by Catherine and her master drummer. People taking part were aged 8 to 80! Master drummer was excellent at engaging everyone, giving instructions on basic drum beats also informing us of history of djembe drum.
I would recommend Mangotree, both Catherine and her master drummer showed passion for drums and interest in those taking part in the drumming session.

Mangotree Kids ran drumming workshops at two events for us and they were amazing - all attendees had a brilliant experience. I highly recommend Catherine and the team.

Ekaya Housing Association used the Mangotree Kids Drum Circle experience at our Black History celebration. It was super engaging, enjoyable and informative. The master drummer gave us a 'beginners session' in how to make a few sounds on the drum and we were making wonderful sounds as a group by the end of the hour. Excellent team building session!

We used Mangotree Kids for our son’s 4th birthday party and they were excellent. Arrived promptly, engaged 24 kids with their storytelling and drum session and everyone had a great time. Catherine was very professional and great with kids. Thank you! We can’t recommend them enough.

Mangotree kids helped us host an African drumming party on my son’s 9 th birthday. They were brilliant! Arrived on time, set up everything before party. Everyone loved them and the children as well as the adults had a lovely time.

My 7 year old has always been interesting in playing the Djemebe drum, so I was very excited when I found Mangotree Kids offered drumming lessons for children. My son loved the lesson and has been practicing every day, and looking forward to the next one. The teacher was kind and patient... highly recommended.

Mangotree Kids have come into preschool for their 6 week drumming course. All the children can participate at once as Mangotree Kids have so many drums. The children and teachers have delighted to learn how to drum and go on adventures each week as they learn about the different countries in Africa. Mr Drummer man is exceptional at drumming and Catherine is full of energy and inspires the children to learn and have a great time. Well worth it and we will repeat this with the next cohort of children.

Mango tree kids came to our cultural appreciation day and the children loved it! as did the staff! It was a brilliant experience, every child had their own drum and could join in. Catherine even tailored the session so our youngest babies aged 7-8 months could take part. It was amazing!

Mangotree Kids is a vibrant company which I have had the pleasure of using over many years. The children absolutely love the drumming sessions where they can play worth a professional drummer. We all dress up, play and dance to the African drums. We have discovered some amazing young dancers and musicians. The session brings with it the biggest smiles from all who take part. Sheer joy!

Mangotree kids is a lovely and nurturing group. Children always look happy after attending their sessions, my daughter loves her drumming classes with them. Her musicality and rhythm rapidly improved. Their booking system is very easy to use.

Received my doll today she is black, beautiful, with natural black hair and wonderful clothes. She came in a beautiful African print bag. I received a personal call for purchase I was more then happy and so is the child I bought it for. Will be ordering another for my 22 year old daughter just because I can and she wanted it.

Excellent place to find multi cultural toys, books and access services such as African drumming classes and culturally themed birthday parties. An absolute God-sent for parents of mixed race and non-white children to make them feel represented and included. Highly recommend. Very professional and everything is of great quality, designed with care and excellent attention to detail.

Our 5 year old attends the Mangotree Drumming after school. He absolutely loves it. We went to their end of term drumming show the other day and watching all the children was delightful. It‘s a very fun activity and MangoTree really engage the kids.
