Excellent value for money. Everything feels rock solid and smooth. The key-bed is the least impressive feature. However at this price and being mini keys one can't expect a premium key-bed. If I were to nit-pick I would point out the lack of cross platform configuration software for the device. The MPKmini Editor will install and run just fine under Wine on Linux. However, AKAI does not provide it as a discrete download from their website. One must install the Software Manager under Windows—as it won't install via Wine—download the Editor installer via the Software Manager, save the Editor installer on a thumb drive or something and then use Wine to install that under Linux.
