Has connectivity to all the cable types I need to test at this current time and works as specified. That's enough for now. Will know more after I've repaired and retested a few of my currently broken cables.

Excellent testing unit - this tester is different to most as it has a microprocessor that locks the fault light on. This is way better as you can plug the cable ends in, give it a shake, and even if the cable joints have only a hairline fracture the fault will trigger the light to stay on (until reset button). Other testers are more like multimeters - they only show the light while the fault is occurring, which is no use if the cable is intermittently faulty. Great for eliminating cables that cause huge phantom-power "pops" when moved! Only negatives: 1. I wish the power slide switch was protected, when this item is in my gig bag I sometimes discovered it's turned itself on inside the bag 2. the handy belt clip included with it is annoying that it covers the battery cover, so I never bother putting the belt clip on the unit.
