It does the job and is so much cheaper than other splitter/DI boxes. My only real complaint is that the attenuation is quite fierce! I don't know a lot about DIs but the difference between 0, 20 and 40db is huge. The result is that the box does bring in a lot of artifact when using attenuation. I just leave it at zero and work from that. It has certainly made recording my bass much easier.
