These New headphones are a step in the right direction for my Audio Engineering studies, I have already been utilising them to broaden my scopes on how music sounds in relevance to appreciating & noticing the Soundscape. These headphones will be used for my introduction into the Industry and I have full confidence they will serve me well.

Exceptional bass and treble extension. Where other headphones mask and roll off the top end, these give you the whole picture. Flat is OK, informative is better. My DT990's were a tad shrill on Day 1, but they've improved drastically with use and I've taken measurements to prove it. The sound stage is gorgeous. The mids are a tad recessed, so you'll be cranking these more often than not. I'll be mixing with these for a very long time.

Crystal clear sound quality and within a very reasonable price, owned for a few weeks so I cannot speak to build quality or reliability so far. I use them as my primary PC sound, and wear them for hours at a time. If you wear glasses like I do after a few hours they do tend to be a little tight and press the glasses arm into your head causing minor discomfort. Otherwise very comfortable and stable.

It was awesome to have a store that had all of the headphones I was considering ready for me to plug into my own source and not what the manufacturer selected. Honestly, I couldn't imagine a better pair of Headphones for the price, I am very happy with their ability to produce quality bass with detail. These are most probably comparable to Electrostatic speakers, but with proper full range from one source. Listen to the initial Bass on "The Chemical Brothers - Sunshine Underground" back to back with another headphone. Bass guitar sounds lifelike, stringed instruments, jazz anything I could throw at it made me grin and played very clear.
