I replaced a similar JBL because it had a very badly designed user-interface - even the on/off button confused users. The EV is better in ever way - user interfaces on the speaker and in the app are both logical and easy to use. Speaker is plenty loud, clean precise sound and amazing battery life. My only complaint is the fit and quality of the padded case - it’s supposed to be for this model EV but is much too big and doesn’t have enough protection for the speaker - I wish I’d bought a QSC bag for it.
