Originally purchased for a practice amp at home but this thing also shines at smaller gigs and rehearsals. The two inputs with XLR and guitar lead mean I can use this for guitar+ voice cafe/bar gigs. It’s plenty loud for most situations. It can also stand like a monitor wedge on a stage for monitoring my guitar sound at bigger gigs. Without doubt the most flexible speaker setup I’ve ever used. I use a NeuralDSP nano cortex and the amp tones I can get are stellar.
Knew this was the product I was looking for, pricing was good and actually in stock.
The Headrush FRFR 8" powered speaker is excellent for my home rig. Using a Tonex and pedals for my sound, the Headrush is clean and doesn't colour the sound of the pedalboard. You can also use the cabinet IR of your choice and it sounds perfect coming through the Headrush. It's well made and sits nicely in either a vertical or horizontal footptint. If you're using amp simulators this is a great option if you're after live sound.
