I bought this attenuator after using a maté’s Behringer unit for my Marshall. It looks good, has nice features and can either be plugged in to have the fan operating or use it passively with no power plugged in. It doesn’t get overly warm. Like all basic attenuators you lose a little top end frequency but you can dial that back in if needed using EQ. It attenuates about 10db as soon as it’s connected with knob on full, all the way down to nothing. For the price it’s great and does exactly what I need it to.
