I like this unit. I haven't used a shotgun mic but this does what I need it to do. I saw a video comparing it with another one and it was clear it's ability to filter out unwanted noise, and it does this well. In my case, trams and balcony noise are an issue, but this mic does a great job of reducing it quite a lot.
