I was suggested this microphone over the one I had in mind after discussing my recording environment can sometimes be quite noisy. The Rode has been an excellent suggestion and, with the use of a gate, the environmental noise has been greatly reduced. An excellent microphone.

well built, easy to adjust on boom arm. sounds good but need some practice to get the sound about right, I find it best at 4" away.. Using it for broadcast, though I do EQ a bit as the mids are a tad low sounding. Has similarities to EL350 mic
