Our daughter has been having drum lessons for 3 terms. Her enjoyment, motivation and commitment encouraged us to buy this for her 8th birthday. Her teacher recommended the Roland TD-02K kit considering her current 'level', as well as our budget and environment constraints (small space, apartment). The Manny's team were awesome - friendly, helpful and encouraging of the parents with zero drum knowledge! Daughter was so surprised when she saw her kit - she's played almost every day since - including "composing" and just jamming away. 1000x better than screen time.
