Very happy with my new Shure SM57. But before I bought it I called the Manny's helpline for information about mounting this mike on my old Ashton mike stand. Stand has a ~6mm male thread mounting point, so I needed help to see what I needed to attach the new mike. Not much help received though. So then I also purchased the Shure_AD25D mic clip (an extra AUD19.00) and thought I would then need to find an adapter bush to fit this to my stand, as the web photo only shows quite a large diameter brass female thread mount. Package was delivered promptly (good!). I opened the AD25D package first (unfortunately) to find that it includes a brass adapter bush to fit the mike clip to my stand [see first image attached - but no info about this adapter bush is given on the website]. Then I opened the microphone package. Turns out this includes a bunch of stuff not noted on Manny's website either: SM57 Mike, AD25D mounting clip (with adapter bush), soft carry bag, velcro cable tie, op manual and spec sheet + a SHURE sticker (not sure where I'll stick that!)
