I'm very glad I bought this amp stand. It allows the amp to be supported at various heights and at a useful angle and it's much cheaper than the competition. Unfortunately with my speaker, which is just over 30cm deep, the stand is very close to the point at which it will topple forward and I've had to modify it.

It does the trick! It won't make you a coffee or connect to the internet, but it will hold your amp at a great height and angle. If you're asking, 'why would I need an amp stand?' then you probably don't need one. If you know the value of using one, then you cannot go wrong with this model! It will still be in use long after I hang up my axe; it is indeed 'heavy duty' in construction and 'solidity'. It happily holds either my Fender Frontman 212R, or my Ibanez Troubadour 30w acoustic amp, and you can dial in multiple height and angle combinations to suit even the most finicky guitarist, bassist, keyboarderist... even fanging a foldback speaker onto this for a drummer is completely in within the scope of its awesomeness.

Currently holding aloft my 26 Ampeg GVT15-112 guitar amp, at its lowest setting where i have it set, its perfect height for playing sitting down, amp controls at perfect height. Cant get better for the money.

Acceptable value at the price .. it only has to sit in my home studio indefinitely undisturbed though. I suspect it would disintegrate very quickly if I was a 'gigging' musician .. only recommended for bedroom producers! (in fact I doubt it would survive a changeover of amps .. too much 'wear & tear' .. :()
Works great! Sturdy, strong and will handle heavy combo guitar or keyboard amps no problem Easy enough to fold down after gigs also. Planning to buy another one or two soon!
It raises my amp off the floor. I was concerned that the ears on my knees were going deaf, now my ears can continue to do so. It is a bit awkward to store and move around, but that's something for me to figure out, and not really the fault of the manufacturer.
