I had a bad return last time but I used…

I had a bad return last time but I used the service again and this time was no better, late delivery and to be honest I wish I could post a picture of just how dirty the car and drivers footwell was, it looked like it had been in a cement factory.
Not acceptable for a regular user, just take a little more care of customers cars, plus the guys on drop off and pick up could not care less!

Cars are parked in secure open-air compounds and unfortunately environmental factors such as dust, pollen, dirt, and bird droppings can occur depending on weather conditions and the time of year. However, we certainly would not expect the vehicle interior or driver footwell to be returned in an unsatisfactory condition.

We are also disappointed to hear your comments regarding our team, as this is not the level of service we aim to provide and our staff should always remain professional and helpful.

Meet & Greet Gatwick North

Your meet and greet service might be a bit more expensive but on the occasions we have used it (LGW) it has worked really well and now wouldn’t do park and ride unless there was a big price difference
We had hand luggage and were home under an hour after touchdown.

Billed as higher level of parking

Billed as higher level of parking, but same as all the others on drop off. Typical scruffy reception and desk. Unfriendly and sour on collection. ‘There’s your car’. Nothing else at all. Not ideal after a holiday.

12 miles put on car after drop off and collection

Parking drop off and busses very smooth and a friendly office at LHR. I did take a photo of my mileage though on drop off. When I got back in the car for collection, 12 miles had been put on the car. So we assumed that the car had been driven 6 miles out for storage? Is this normal practice for a reputable LHR parking company?

Yes, it is completely normal practice for airport parking companies operating this type of service to move vehicles to secure off-site storage compounds. This is why customers are required to leave their keys with us, as outlined within our booking terms and conditions.

The additional 12 miles recorded on your vehicle would be consistent with the journey to and from our secure storage compound during your parking period. All vehicle movements are carried out by authorised and insured staff only.

Great price. Simple instructions. We dropped the car off at 2.00 (am) and picked it up at 22.30 (pm), and the service was excellent. Very straightforward. We would use again.

Thought I could keep my keys so no-one else could drive my car while I was away!

Positives: The car park was easily found by my sat nav/Waze. Location is quite close to Heathrow T5 terminal and the bus transfer was quick and frequent enough so we didn't have to wait around very long at all (<2mins), on either the outbound or return journey. The staff were friendly as I expected them to be.

Negatives: It wasn't made clear on the booking website (via Holiday Extras) that we had to leave our keys with them. I'd specifically sought only providers where I could park my own vehicle (a 'premium' make and model, albeit a 2017 year) and keep the keys and so this was what I thought I was paying over £160 for.
Worse still, when I collected my car on return from holiday, I compared the mileage on the odometer (78749) from when I'd left the vehicle with them (78737) and became a bit suspicious... Would Maple Express parking care to explain by response please how/why/where my vehicle was driven a total of 12 miles(!) during the 14 days period that it was in your care? I may or may not have a tracker fitted, so this could be a rhetorical question. Thank you

We would like to clarify that we do not hide the fact that customers are required to leave their keys with us. This information is provided within the booking terms and conditions, and is standard practice for this type of parking service.

As part of the service, vehicles are moved to and from our secure off-site storage compounds, which explains the additional mileage recorded on your odometer. In your case, the 12 miles added during the 14-day parking period is entirely consistent with the operational movement of the vehicle between the airport drop-off area and our secure storage location.

We appreciate that some customers may not expect vehicle movement if unfamiliar with airport parking services, however this forms part of how the service operates.

Hassle free parking with good shuttle service to LHR Terminal 5.
However, satnav not that helpful when finding the first time - check out beforehand using say Google Maps.

Good experience. Left car, got bus within 5 mintes to our terminal. Helpful driver. Bit of confusion where to find bus for our terminal on our return. Soon got sorted and back to collect car with no problem. Again, helpful driver.

Never again

Never again! Left my 3 week old polestar 3 worth over £90k with them for 4 days. Came back to it covered in thick dust, and to try and open it with the key card they have wiped it up and down the gloss black door pillar and scratched the living daylight out of it. All you need to do it tap the door handle. Zero care and when I confronted them they were not bothered at all and just told me to send an email. If you value your car do not leave it with these uncaring cowboys. Im absolutely furious!!!

Nearly perfect again

Nearly perfect again, just a very tight squeeze to get back into My vehicle. Had to pull out and block the exit route to let my wife in as impossibly close to the vehicle on passenger side.
