NOT RELIABLE

I ordered 2 handbags and a wallet for a Christmas gift, I only received one handbag and the wallet (the missing item is 440 euros, which is a significant amount). I am in France, there is no way to contact the customer service except by message. I sent confirmation emails, pictures of the package and labels. It's been 10 days now, I just received an email a week ago telling me that my complaint was transferred to the competent team and I still have no answer. My order has disappeared from the marcjacobs.com website. I get the following message when I search for it "SOMETHING WENT WRONG We're just as confused as you are right now. Let's go back and act like this never happened"! I have never experienced such a problem with a merchant webwite, I will let you know if I get a refund for the missing item. For the moment my experience is that marcjacobs.com is NOT RELIABLE.

I ordered two purses at the same time…

I ordered two purses at the same time and only received one. I called to find out why I only received one. I was told it happens sometimes and was assured that the second one would be delivered before Christmas. I called today because I still haven’t received a the purse nor confirmation email and was told it was cancelled. Three days before Christmas.. I didn’t receive any notification. I’m pissed tf off.. I wish I would’ve read the reviews before I ordered. Lesson learned, I’ll never ever purchase a product from Marc Jacobs again. Now I have to find a last minute gift 😤.

Double charged and missing items

Ordered a purse for my wife about six weeks ago with two shoulder straps. Received the purse in the mail with one of the shoulder straps, but the other one was missing. Called customer support, more or less received no answer about the whereabouts of the missing shoulder strap. In the coming weeks, I would receive five different emails regarding my order. Final email just said that it was out of stock, so they canceled the order. Then their next move was to charge me AGAIN for the price of the order minus the missing shoulder strap. So as it stands now, I’ve paid TWICE for an order I made and I didn’t even receive all of the items. They claim to be sending me a refund for the amount they most recently charged me for. Why would they not just refund me the price of the shoulder strap that THEY incorrectly claimed was in stock? This supposed refund takes 7-10 business days before I might see it. I have zero faith at this point I’ll receive any sort of refund. But they can take my money immediately even though it’s THEIR MISTAKE. But hey…they sent me an apology email with a 20% coupon for my next order. Laughable.

No stars…buyer beware..false advertisement and misleading information on the Marc jacobs website.they are advertising if you purchase your item before 12/15@11:59pm they are “guaranteeing “ you’ll receive your item before Christmas Day.I ordered my item 12/14@1:37 pm.and according to a very unhelpful customer service representative my item isn’t qualified to be here before Christmas..how could this be?sorry website,advertising lies,and customer service is a joke.WILL NOT BE SPENDING MY MONEY WITH MARC JACOBS ANYMORE.after reading the reviews I hope I even get my item..shame on you Marc jacobs.

If there was a zero star I would give…

If there was a zero star I would give it. SCAMMERS ! I returned a sneakers from them with the label I got out the box and they said they never received it and they only ship UPS however the label was USPS with a 3rd patty shipper Pitney Bowes. Still waiting on my money back from them. I WILL NEVER buy another MARC JACOBS product

First AND LAST time I’ll ever purchase anything from Marc Jacobs website. I may not even buy in person at this point. I ordered on Nov 27 2022, this gorgeous rhinestone mini bag. It had been sold out and then restocked so I was super excited about it. On December 2nd 2022 I got an email that stated there was a high volume of orders and there is a delay in shipping but that my order will be shipped ASAP. Today, wondering when the heck it will ship, I put in the order number on the site and find out that my order has been CANCELLED! What the hell! I am actually so upset. I bought it for myself for Christmas and now it won’t be arriving and they are sold out again. Very disappointing. I cannot believe they updated me on my order promising to ship soon when they indeed cancelled it. Just ridiculous.

If I could give them a zero I would

If I could give them a zero I would. I will not consider them a designer brand any longer. What designer brand does that e a refund policy for you to get your money back at least the 1st 14-21 days, or even explain the return policy during the purchase? I don’t wear it but bought a bucket bag for my daughter and wanted to return it because I found the exact color she liked later on that week so now I’m stuck and out of $500 for a bag that I don’t even wear. I called, sent emails to store manager and it has been two days and still no response.

Worst experience ever!!!
Ordered online on Oct 15 with a French card didn't go through so I tried a canadian card which did. I reached out to them to understand why my french card was still debited although it says declined they mentioned they couldn't debit it and the preauthorisation was refunded. To then, see my French card debited 3 weeks later, after I received my order with my canadian card. Couldn't cancel my order, I am now asking for a refund they don't want to refund the taxes. For your sanity don't buy there

Ordered Marc jacobs boots 3 weeks ago. Item wasn’t shipped still, ignoring all messages to cancel it. I no longer need it as it was for a birthday gift, got something else. Holding money hostage literally. awful!!!! Don’t buy from their online store. E-global who deals for them with orders is a mess.

Bad company

Returned a bag, it took about a month or more for them to confirm that they got my product back. I messaged about 3 or 4 times and they took a month to confirm my refund. My mistake was to email them so many time so finally I called and was told my refund was completed on October 13. Mind you it is now November 28 and was told twice by 2 ladies and a supervisor that my refund was completed in October. I went to October 13 thinking I made a mistake NOPE , no bank statement regarding a refund therefore I had to dispute this charge and all of a sudden a couple days later NOW they are saying , you will receive your refund which thankfully I did. It took 3 months to get an answer and a refund. I will never buy from this company ever again!!! Bad company and customer service!!!!

So far no complaints

So far no complaints. I ordered my five bags the day after Thanksgiving(Friday). Have not received tracking number but email said it would take 7-10 business before I get a tracking number.we will see! Super excited 😄 my first ever order.

Easy and perfect.. to me

I came here right after I ordered TERRIFIED thinking I would have the same experience as others. I ordered on the 17th of November and got my bag November 25th. Everything was easy and perfect! I love my bag. I didnt have to use customer service or a return so I cant speak on that. I just wanted to level out some of the bad reviews.. every experience isnt a bad one. I will definitely use their main site again. Thank yall

Awful refund and customer service

I ordered four bags from MJ website. Of which, I returned 2 which were received by MJ warehouse on Nov. 2nd. Since the refund amount is huge, I called up their customer service and was assured that refund will be processed soon. Week after on Nov. 15th called up again and the customer agent lied to me mentioning that she has opened a case to expedite the refund which I got to know on Nov. 21st I hen I reached out again to check my refund delays. I have still not got my refund amount in spite of several calls and emails to the customer service. Highly unprofessional, unempathetic customer service. I’m running into a credit card payment issue cz of this delay

Not worth it. Packaging cheap and nasty

My daughter bought a bag with her birthday money in early October. She received a notification in November apologising for the delay and offered an extra 20% off. She's now had her order cancelled ...being sent a very vague email that doesn't even mention when she will get her refund. We've contacted them but not had a response yet....we will be raising with PayPal as soon as we can.

I also ordered a piece of jewellery for her Xmas pressie. That did arrive but honestly it came in the most cheap and nasty packaging I've ever seen. 😯. I'm going to have to buy a separate gift box because it's so tacky. Last time I buy from here. They should be ashamed

Didn’t receive my order it’s been 6 Months!

Advice: Never order from Marc Jacobs. You will lose your money and not receive your order. I made an order on 30/5 and today is 19/11. Almost 6 months. I moved from the country I shipped the order to. I never received my order for 1 small tote bag and one medium and my card was charged for 324$. I don’t think I will get a refund. Worst shopping experience!

I purchased a bag in early October and…

I purchased a bag in early October and sent it back days later. I used the return slip provided in the box so I’m certain it was sent to the correct place. I checked UPS and saw that it was received so i assumed I would receive an update on my refund in a few days. Not so! It’s been almost a month and each time I email I’m told they are “researching” or looking into the return. DO NOT SHOP VIA THE SITE DIRECT. This appears to be a thing. I certainly will not. Very poor experience.
