AVOID! Classic dropshipping trap: Misrepresented UK returns, terrible quality, and inflated delivery times

Do not be fooled by this store. Maren Rowe is a textbook dropshipping setup that uses deceptive practices to make returning cheap goods as difficult and expensive as possible.

Here is what you need to know before buying:

Deliberate Return Misrepresentation: Their website explicitly stated that returns should be sent to a physical address in Manchester, UK. However, when I requested a return, customer service insisted I must ship the package back to Shenzhen, China at my own expense. After I called them out on this bait-and-switch with screenshots, they quietly stealth-edited their website to remove the UK mention and updated their policy to China—all while refusing to honour the original UK return location for my order.

Dropship Scam Dynamics: They rely on standard drop-shipping tactics to discourage returns. Rather than providing a standard domestic return label, they attempt to wear you down with tiny partial refund offers (starting at 15%, then 20%, then 30%) so you give up and keep the item rather than paying international tracked shipping to China.

Subpar Quality & Missing Care Label: The jumper itself is of appalling quality. The material feels cheap, the colour does not accurately match the description on their site, and it does not even come with a basic care or fabric composition label inside.

Excessive Shipping Delays: Delivery took nearly two weeks (13 days) to arrive from overseas, causing me to miss the occasion it was purchased for.

Avoid at all costs. I have escalated this chargeback through my credit card company and reported their deceptive trade practices. Save your money and buy elsewhere.
