Margaret Noosa is a scam website
They advertised on Facebook that Margaret’s husband lovingly made these pieces but he passed on and she was now selling all the stock off at a reduced price. I bought a lamp thinking I was buying from Australia but it is the UK. The lamp is made in China and is total rubbish and I paid a high price for it.
Margaret Queenstown: Plastic machined crap
The handmade glass arrived, looked nothing like the image in the ad, probably because it's clearly machined plastic crap, not worth the cost of delivery.
Proceeding with my credit card refund through the bank, changed my card number too so they won't be able to recharge me. When the funds are reversed, this will lose these scammers money.
Shocking scam
Shocking scam. Plastic dog smaller than my hand and is cheap junk made in China for probably less than a dollar. Light does not work either as I cant get 4.5 volt batteries anywhere

Hi ya Margaret
Hi ya Margaret.
Congratulations on your good Christmas timing to take advantage and my last minute shopping panic for your crap selling/ scam. After all I had just one job. To buy my wife’s present so when I realised that you are totally full of shit and your husband didn’t die doing the things you love ( making cheap plastic lamps from China apparently).
I got off my butt and actually went shopping in person and bought some beautiful gifts. Supporting someone local and real.
Thanks for the life lesson.
Be careful Margie or whoever you are because life has a habit of biting you back.
PS
This is a scam from start to finish - DO NOT BUY
This is a scam from start to finish...which , despite my normal sense of caution fell for hook line and sinker in my pressured Christmas buying. Falling for a story of such sadness and dedication and hailing from Noosa (which I love) and giving all the signs of being an Australian site ...led me in to the web of buying such personalised gifts for two people that I love. That being so - started getting tracking from China ???? and realised scammed - but not as much as the products delivered today - disgusting pieces of plastic junk - (one of which was smashed) which I will immediately throw in the garbage. I am embarrassed, angry and sad …and have been burnt badly ...my advice - google before buying - anything online - and if it too good to be true - well ??????
Margaret of Noosa - con & scam
Hi Margaret (if that's who you actually are),
My wife bought your lamp which arrived today.
What a scam you are. We received your $80 Owl lamp and firstly it is certainly not hand made and it came from China. You are disgusting to use sympathy to sell your products.
DON'T EVER BUY FROM THIS WEBSITE
Absolute crap
Absolute crap. Dodgy website. I have waited 18 days for an the Sam Dog light and its not much bigger than my hand. Made of plastic not the effect of lead light glass, Requires a battery size 4.5v which I have not come across and something is rattle inside which suggest there is no light connection. Can not believe the original price was $289.95 reduce down to $69.95 but only worth not even $10. YES I FEEL FOR THE DISCOUNT AND WAS TAKEN FOR A RIDE
These are absolute garbage
These are absolute garbage. I was lucky enough that mine turned up, but it is tiny (much smaller than website suggests) and terrible tacky quality. Absolute piece of junk.
Scam
Scam! I received a lamp but it’s a cheap plastic one and definitely not handmade as advertised. Worth no more than $5.
Disgusting how they play on people’s emotions by saying the creator of the products has passed away.

Warning – Scam Alert
This is not a local Margaret from Noosa, Queensland. All transactions are processed from the UK, despite claims of free Australia Post shipping. The products are never delivered. They use fake shipping notifications through ParcelPanel (a tracking service, not a real carrier) to make it look like orders are dispatched (facilitated by Shopify).
The website has been taken down before, but keeps coming back online, changing hosting. Previously used Cloudflare to mask its identity and location. Customer support is unresponsive, and the site uses emotional marketing stories, like a deceased husband, to pressure purchases. The same items are sold on Temu by multiple sellers, indicating that they are not homemade by the deceased husband. Advertised half-price, send follow-up emails to buy more with an even bigger discount. Payments go through Shopify’s payment systems, which continue to facilitate this fraudulent operation.
The Facebook page for Margaretnoosa is full of negative comments reporting scams. The scam setup follows an online “template” showing how to sell products, find a customer via a dropshipping service and use automated emails to appear legitimate. A demonstration of this Shopify-based scheme can be seen on YouTube called "How to dropship successfully". Meta Ads actively amplifies these scams, exposing more people despite repeated complaints about ads and the multiple accounts Margaret Noosa created on Facebook, there are three accounts for now, with no or fake followers that cannot be seen when clicked on. Meta is not taking down reported ads even with provided evidence of fraud. Accounts created in late November 2025. Has a sister scam account, Margaret Made, with the same scamming activity, already reported on Trustpilot.
Do not buy from this group or trust any of their promotions.
