⚠️ SCAM ALERT – MarginSwap platform & Telegram group "LucasBTC - Alpha Crypto Fr"
I would like to warn as many people as possible about a well-organized scam involving the MarginSwap platform and the Telegram trading group "LucasBTC - Alpha Crypto Fr," run by "Lucas" and "Tianna."
🚩 Here is a summary of what is happening:
The group organizes "impulsive waves" where several members simultaneously commit their capital to low-liquidity cryptocurrencies.
Once the members are trapped and the gains are displayed, the platform freezes the accounts under the pretext of an "investigation for manipulation."
Even members who did not participate in the waves have their accounts blocked, just for depositing on MarginSwap.
Then they offer two "solutions":
⚠️ Send KYC documents + personal supporting documents (which can be used against you)
⚠️ Pay 10% of your balance as a "security deposit" via a new deposit, with no guarantee of withdrawal afterwards.
🎯 This is a two-step scam:
Lure you in with "winning" signals
Trap you by freezing your funds and then extort even more money or personal information from you. Then steal your funds.
❌ Avoid at all costs:
Do not deposit anything on MarginSwap
Do not join the LucasBTC - Alpha Crypto Fr Telegram group
Do not send any personal documents
Do not pay any security deposits
✅ What to do?
Report the platform on CoinGecko, CoinMarketCap, Trustpilot
Report it to the relevant authorities in your country
Alert other users via Reddit, X (Twitter), crypto forums, etc.
🔒 Even if you haven't been a victim, share this message to prevent others from falling into the trap.
The scam is well organized, well presented, and has been very active since 2024/2025.
