Replacement for the original "pull-out" type in my 1984 Ranger V320 with an Evinrude v4 115hp. Fit was perfect and operation is smooth as silk and I really like the push button shift cable bypass for cold starts. It's not cheap, but it is excellent quality and I'm very happy with it.

I purchased OEM BRP/Evinrude/Johnson for one reason, I knew it would fit and if I get 20 years out of it like last one, I am GOOD!!! Pricing was competitive, a little higher but I knew it gave me someone to call if an issue. Previous owner of my boat had issues with original remote as evident upon removal, I had to make some modifications & a little extra time to do it RIGHT and a boat mechanic from marina stopped by & was quite impressed with install & overall appearance. Water test tommorrow and a day of fishing. Thank you... great service & delivery.

Works great . If you are putting on older boat it won't cover existing hole. This is alot better design than previous model.
