I used this primer, and it only worked using 1/4 of the can's capacity when it stopped working. The air pressure was not there so 3/4 of the can could be used. This was probably old stock that sat too long.

A proper primer to use on the aluminum casing of the outdrive to provide the necessary adhesion. Time will tell how well it lasts under operating conditions.
