This replacement unit has a plastic ice tray vs the metal tray on the original. The mounting screws required are not the same as the original screws and are not included so it took some time to determine correct self tapping screws for the plastic base. The wiring harness is also not included so the old harness needed to be removed and installed on the new unit. The grey wire is a pinch fit into a hole on the timer and would not stay in place so I had to disassemble the timer and solder the grey wire in place. After all that the unit works fine so far but makes ice at a much slower pace than the original. We’re not heavy ice users so this is acceptable.
