Nice looking unit that functions well. Installation instructions could be better. Required a large hole to install from the front side. I had a burl bezel made to hide old shift lever holes. It is sandwiched between the shift cover and the hull.
Product is great, but the instructions are lousy... particularly the wiring instructions.
Cheaply made item. The plastic 'Neutral Interlock Lifter" lever inside the handle broke after a few years. When that happens, you cannot shift out of neutral. You cannot buy just that part, or even the whole handle that just bolts onto the shifter. You must buy the entire shifter. I called Dometic and verified this. So you must pay $300 to replace a plastic part that likely costs under $1 to produce. The only good news is that the shifter itself is not plastic and has held-up well - but if you can't move the level forward or backward to shift the rest doesn't matter!

Went with the 8051 vs. 8052 and put a separate “trailer up” button on dash, this saved me about $200.
