Marine Wrap Cowboys!
Has been a nightmare working with MarineWrap.co.uk from start to finish. They seem like a one man band frontman who then just passes the hands on wrapping to subcontractors which in itself isn’t a massive issue but the guy who runs it I don’t think has any experience in the field and just made mistake after mistake along the way. After printing the logo/branding the same on both sides without mirroring the image it looks like the boat is sailing the right way on one side and backwards on the other. The tried to blame me and say I didn’t ask for it to be sailing the right way both sides!
This is the tip of the iceberg as when they left gaps between the dark grey hull wrap and the antifoul leaving the white gel coat showing through he turned up with some light grey paint (completely different to the wrap and the antifoul and painted the gaps, no tape was used and what looks like a 2” paintbrush used meaning the grey paint was slapped with no care over the new wrap horrible. When I came back to the boat the next day and sent him pictures asking why he didn’t colour match the paint or use tape and what he was going to do about it he blocked me didn’t reply and I haven’t heard from him since.
So now I’m £3000 out of pocket, have logos facing the wrong way and two different colours on my hull. No doubt now with any future issues I see I won’t be getting support so I suggest you steer clear of this company.
