Poor customer service aftr emailing Mars WRIGLEY with defective sweet wrapping papers inside Starburst grab bags after purchasing 2 bags in different locations in the UK - adhesive stuck to wrappings on every sweet in both different bags - told to take bag back to Stores I bought them from and ask for a refund- I'd given the barcode best before date and some other number on the back of the bag to customer service and that's the answer I was given - I had already stated I had no package as I'd thrown the products in the bin outcof digust👎👎👎👎👎👎👎Poor Poor Poor Customer service

Profit from pets

So. Probably not many people know this, but apart from chocolate and here is the connection pet food (Sheeba and Whiskers to name a few), they also 'run,' well own Vet Clinics.

Ours was a family run vets when we first joined them and was perfect, looked after our fur babies and mostly did everything right. Then with the way the world is experienced problems and sold out to Mars. Ever since everything has been downhill. If your pet has an operation - don't expect overnight care. The animal has it's operation then has to come home. I blame this massive corporation for making everything about profit, for buying up a family run vets and turning it into a production line where they don't care about your pets, just the profit worried pet owners bring in!

Feels like a scam

When I first was charged I received an email to wait for a another email for when my order was shipped. To this day my order is not shipped and when I reached out to customer service for a Refund or update, they didn’t give me an update on my order and told me they don’t do cancellations or refunds. They then proceeded to charge me twice. When I still have no idea where my supposed Orginal “order” is.

Don't fall for free stuff competition

Bought a tin of celebrations. At the bottom of the tin was a card for a chance to win a free prize. Scanned the QR card as requested took me straight through to a scam website that bombard you with texts at £1.50 a time. Dreadful experience you have been warned. Mars we expect better!

Still calling Mars... Anyone there.

Another day. No comment from arrogant Mars. What is one mere customer. No doubt those silent folks at Mars will find out. See below. Mars have not responded to an online form complaint about a Kind Foods product quality issue. Sent two days ago. Mars have not responded to a media enquiry sent yesterday. It is rude not even to acknowledge receipt. Perhaps they are inundated with consumer issues. Maybe they rely on AI. Following contact again from me today this is up to them to resolve. I even sent supporting photo evidence yesterday. One is not allowed to phone them.

Cynical child labor abusers

I wanted to give a zero star rating...I was dumbfounded to find out through the CBS News segment that Mars uses children to harvest cocoa. How morally corrupt are they? Well, they "sanitize" their image by distancing themselves through use of independent farmers. I will NEVER buy another product marketed by this soulless multinational that outright endangers the lives and well-being of children for their greed!

VCA & Royal Canin

Years ago I went to the old office and didn't stay with but couldn't remember why so when I needed a vet I thought I'd give them a second chance. What a mistake. If you will notice there are no veterinarian reviews online, they don't like to be reviewed. And when you talk to management they have an answer for everything, they will dispute you. They have been trained well in that department to cover up.
Dr. Marilyn Girgis couldn't get enough tests, $$$$. Dr. Karen Dorairaj-Camacho told me when I brought my dog in with pancreatitis that I should call Royal Canin about the punctured can, that was the second vet that told me to do that, she said they are really good about helping out with bills so I called and sent everything in and waited two and a half months, they were going to call both vets, didn't happen, then emailed and said nothing was wrong with the food, so I asked for a letter stating what happened, was told since food was not tested couldn't do. Company wouldn't even acknowledge can, so now I'm a liar. The bill between two hospitals was $3165.05. Big conflict of interest since Anaheim Hills Pet Clinic sells Royal Canin and VCA is owned by Mars Incorporated who also owns Royal Canin.
Hospital stay means twelve hours in twelve hours home, if there was a problem when they were home you had to take to another ER. They gave no phone number or ER to use, just left you hanging.
Once you pay, last time $1600, for an appointment if you call a couple days later about the same problem they will not get back to you for close to twenty-four hours, they want you to make another appointment. Happened twice even after talked to management. Girl I talked to was so smug.
While traveling around town and talking to dog trainers and clients of other VCA's have not heard anything positive about VCA. Even Costco pharmacist asked me what was wrong with this place. Management told me just a mixup. They sure have a lot. When I went to pay off Care Club they had two prescriptions refilled and one charged that I didnt evrn know about.
By the way they push prescription dog food which is not regulated, one in particular, Royal Canin which is owned by Mars Incorporated which also owns VCA.
The bottom line is the bottom line. $$$$. VCA and Royal Canin do not care about their consumers.

Having bought a box of whiskers cat…

Having bought a box of whiskers cat food pouches at my supermarket,I was disgusted to find the amount of cat food has halved in each pouch, it's a total con,and at £4.50 a box,I won't be buying them again! I now by asda own brand which not only is cheaper but there is a proper amount of good inside, this will come back on the company as people won't buy it,I certainly won't!

Mars fails

Bought a mars bar the other day the shrunk one. Where has all the deliciousness caramel gooyness gone? I used to love mars bars. If you are going to shrink chocolate make it the same but a wee bit shorter. 👎

Sneaky price increase

I have been feeding my cat's Whiskas cat food which is made by Mars Inc. for years. I recently noticed they have given their boxes a makeover with a drawing of a cute wide eyed moggie.
What they have kept quiet though, is they have reduced the size of their pouches from 100g to 85g. As I buy 2 boxes of 40 pouches a week, this means I'm losing the equivalent of 12 pouches each week.
They have kept this very quiet - I'm sure had they INCREASED to pouch size by 15g they would have publicised this all over their boxes. I see Tesco stopped stocking Whiskas because of their proposed increase which they felt unfair - presumably this is how Whiskas have got around this, same price, less product. In a time of such hardship for many people who are even having to give up their pets I think this is a very poor show from Mars who would be wise to realise there are other choices out there3

I've eaten m&ms since I was a child I'm 65 and won't anymore. Bowing down to a few people with nothing better to do in other words no life that think they've gone woke. One being the sick tucker carlson who thinks candy is sexy, obsessed with men's testicles and children's genitalia. Sorry Mars you won't be getting my money again.

Email Mars Candy

Emailed Mars on their candy bar to explain the statement on the label saying the ingredients are genetically modified. They refused to explain. Surprised they even put the ingredients on the label. apparently their chocolate is more junk than real chocolate. also: they replace cocoa butter or dairy components of chocolate with cheaper vegetable fats or polyglycerol polyricinoleate (PGPR), thereby reducing the quantity of actual cocoa in the finished product $$$

Love love love...🍫🍫

Throughout covid and since almost all brands of food changed considerably. So many famous brands of chocolate have since become cloying and have a plastercine consistency. So after purchasing my favourite galaxy and bounty's I didn't expect it to be anything like it used to be. I can't believe Mars has not joined the rat race and compromised on taste and ingredients 😀🙂😁😆 the chocolate is as fantastic as it has always been!!!! I have such a sweet tooth and I love the fact that twix, bounty, magic stars and galaxy have not changed. You are the only company to have precedence over the production of great tasting chocolate and don't believe the negativity you receive on here is justifiable. Cadburys chocolate is entirely inedible. I had a bounty Easter egg months back and it just melted in my mouth! Well done everyone at Mars you haven't succumbed to the rubbish other companies produce. A massive thank you for my favourite sweet treats I'll continue to purchase and adore. Your the best 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟

I bought one of the large 225 piece Halloween bags of candy thinking it would be a mixture of Snickers, 3 Musketeers and Starburst as shown on the bag. So dissatisfied as the majority of the bag is Starburst. What a ripoff!!

new galaxy milk chocolate recipe

Tried new galaxy milk chocolate recipe recently, seems like the milk has gone off, taste is quite different and for me, not pleasant. We tried another bar from different shop a few days later but exactly the same.
No more galaxy for us, was our favourite

I had an issue with sheba cat soup at…

I had an issue with sheba cat soup at the start of 2022.
I called their complaints team, who I now understand is a third party team, to complain about this 3rd march 2022.
Was advised after many weeks of waiting and several calls, they would reimburse me with vouchers.
Many calls later when they do actually answer the phone was told they had been sent. 7 weeks later I call again, no vouchers, and was told I would get more. 5 weeks later had to call again, and was told they use yet another cog in the rusty wheel to send vouchers. I called again, asked to speak to a manager. Was told 48 hours..... 1 week 2 day later, still no vouchers and no call.
No-one answers the phone, the vm is always full and no one is available.
This is an absolute disgrace. Mars' reputation tarnished by their customer "care" department. If you have a complaint, go stand outside and shout at a bird, you may get a better response
