It didn't stand up to its name at all. 2 days use and the blade chipped in 3 places. Somehow the manufacture has made the metal brittle. I only used it for normal, simple pruning tasks like rose pruning, climber pruning.

The secateurs I received wouldn't close nicely, and couldn't cut paper at all. Maybe that was a one off. In other respects, they are well made, and the blade feels sharp. A 100% functioning one would be a good secateur..............

I am waiting to see if 'ever sharp' really is ever sharp. Great sharpness just now as new secateurs. Lovely solid secateurs.Will paint a bright blob of paint on them though as altho the wooden handles are lovely I wont see them if I forget to put them away.
