Solent Wight Garlic is a softneck variety bred on the Isle of Wight, producing large, top-quality bulbs full of flavour. Softneck types are slightly less hardy than hardneck garlics but store exceptionally well and are milder in flavour. They are also easier to braid for storage.
Plant individual cloves in late winter for a July harvest. With proper cool, dry storage, Solent Wight Garlic will keep for months, offering a reliable and versatile choice for home gardeners.
