The photos were colour corrected to…

The photos were colour corrected to such an extent that the person looks washed out and the background overtakes the whole picture. Thus v disappointed in the final product. Having tried to resolve I am told I have to send back the photos I have got (at my expense) and it will cost me another ten pounds to digitally alter the background. Honestly my husband took better photos himself!

Therefore we have provided you the opportunity to return the order so we can have these adjusted for you. 

Unfortunately as the editing requested is a custom edit, you would incur an additional editing fee if you wish to proceed.

Excellent service and Customer Support

I will admit I was very late at sorting out my graduation photos from 9 months ago, however, I could breeze through everything today and get it all sorted at rapid speed. I was unhappy with my appearance in some of the photos due to fog in my glasses, however, one of their customer assistants let me know about their services and editing support on photos. Big shout out to Vikensha :)

Aweful -Avoid if possible

I have edited this review to reflect Marston Events have been in touch and offered compensation and an appology. Aweful pictures ( good job we took our own at the event) Aweful coordination as we had to queue two hours to pick up the graduation gown , had to queue one hour for the photos ,which made it impossible for disabled parent to be part of the day. Missing photos when they returned them.

I will never forget Jess

I will never forget Jess. She helps ms thoroughly from the start to the end. Booking, Graduation, Photography you name it. She assists you enthusiastically without showing any sourness. She is truly helpful. Wonderful customer service support.

SCAMMER ALERT

I had an absolutely terrible experience with Marston Events. Not only did they scam us out of our money by promising us one digital photo that we never received, but their customer service was also extremely poor. Their representative at the event lied to get us to pay them, Marston Events did not care as they have my money now.

The lady on the phone was rude and unhelpful when we reached out to them for assistance. She even put the phone down on us, leaving us feeling frustrated and angry.

This level of disrespect and lack of professionalism is completely unacceptable. Marston Events has no respect for their customers or their special moments. I would strongly advise others to avoid this company at all costs.

TLDR; Marston Events is a company that should be avoided at all costs. Not only are they scammers who will lie and cheat you out of your money, but their customer service is also extremely poor. The lady on the phone was rude and unhelpful, putting the phone down on us when we asked for assistance. Don't make the same mistake we did - stay away from Marston Events.

We are sorry to hear that you are not satisfied with the experience you have received.

We can confirm that the £15 fee paid on the day is for the cost of the studio session as you did not have a pre-order. On the day of the graduation our staff correctly informed you that a link to your photos would be emailed to you within 5 working days of your graduation. This link enables you to access and view all of your studio proofs taken on the day. However, this does not enable you access to the images as digital downloads and we apologise if there was any miscommunication with regards to the phrasing of this service on the day.

Following the phone call, we can confirm that our customer care team tried to assist you and explain the £15 studio session fee. However, we have a zero-tolerance abuse policy and after we issued you a warning over the phone, sadly as the conversation could not continue, the call was ended.

If you do wish to email us, we would be happy to explain this and provide you further details.

Marston Events have no customer service skills

Marston Events were hired to perform our university graduation photos, by the university, and graduation was on the 18th July where we were informed we would be emailed the following Monday, however we were not contacted until 30th of July to view and choose our photographs. There appeared to be a problem with the way they had worded the order that I had placed, so I queried this. I hadn’t heard anything back for over a week, so I placed the order on the off chance that I was right, I still haven’t received my photographs, or a reply to my query and now it is the 30th August and they have still to dispatch my order. This is a company that I intend to stay clear of in the future and if they are at my next graduation, I will be hiring my own photographer for the day. Extremely disappointed in their ‘lack of’ customer service.
