My experience was just ok. I added a personalized a card to the gift. However it wasn't included in the gift basket which really sinks.

Card message information is automatically exported from your order, so it appears exactly as you enter it in the order.
Gift card enclosure is added in a clear packing sleeve which is attached to the top of the box.
So if your recipient can check the sleeve, he will find your personal message.
