Item showing as in stock wasn't
Ordered an LG tumble dryer that the website said was in stock. Three days past and I heard nothing so I rang them on a Friday. I was told that stock was coming in early next week. I heard nothing again so on Tuesday i rang again and was told that the promised stock wouldn't arrive for two or three weeks!
I immediately asked for a full refund.
Two stars only because they were at least polite.

I ordered a compact stereo system on the 28th September and it was marked as 'in stock' when I placed the order. I received an email on the 2nd October stating that it was in fact out of stock but that there would be a 2 to 3 week turnaround. I received an email on the 13th October asking for a review. Then I did not hear anything at all until the 4th November when I finally gave the company a ring to ask for my money back. I am told that it will be back in my account in three to five working days. I await with bated breath.

Although the product and timing of delivery were perfect the driver was an ignoramus, I tried at least three times to engage him in polite conversation particularly in regards to the fact that my road was closed and he had to walk an extra 20ft but alas no talking, no eye contact he merely uttered 4 words to me "what's your second name" I appreciate the driver was from DPD but he is also a reflection of you as a company K9

Amazing service
I cannot state strongly enough how amazing Stuart at Martin Dawes was. So so helpful and knowledgeable and the main reason for my score is he LISTENED to all my questions - so many "experts" just want to preach to you. I felt respected and in turn the decision to spend a large sum of money on a soundbar was an easy one. What’s the point
Bought a Samsung heat pump dryer directly from Samsung which arrived and doesn’t heat up. An engineer was instructed to come out from Martin Dawes a few weeks later, the day arrives and the engineer tells us his machine doesn’t see any faults, although we know there is one because it’s not heating up, again I wait weeks for my next appointment, the engineer turns up with the part damaged! So instead of making services like this a priority they tell me they don’t have any appointments and the next one will be in 2 weeks time! What kind of service is that. So frustrated with the company, yes things happen but how do you not have a system in place for things like this. Priority repairs.
Excellent Customer Service
Spoken to Stuart with regards to purchasing a new tumble dryer and he talked me through the different ranges available. I have always used a vented dryer in the past and Stuart discussed a condensor dryer and how that would be much better suited to my needs. Whilst on the phone I also discussed that I wanted to move my television and sky to a different location in my lounge and Stuart advised on what cable extentions I needed in order for me to do this. Stuart was extremely helpful with excellent customer service skills.

I ordered an LG FDV309WN Freestanding…
I ordered an LG FDV309WN Freestanding 9kg Heat Pump Tumble Dryer online, which was showing the item as stock, delivery next day. It was a Saturday so I wasn’t expecting delivery until Monday or Tuesday, but when no delivery date was given to me I phoned the support line. Somebody answered and told me unfortunately they have no stock, but more are arriving on Wednesday.
Wednesday came but no delivery date given, so I tried using the online chat service. I explained what I wanted and got no response. I then called the support line, waited 40 minutes and still could not get through so hung up frustrated. I then sent an email, where I received a response shortly after saying someone would contact me. Nobody did.
I waited a couple of days, called again, and was told the same story, we are expecting more items on Wednesday, we will know on Monday and someone will contact you. Again no contact.
I tried calling again this Friday, am told they should be arriving next week and they will know on Tuesday if they have the product and will contact me. I am not expecting a call as the service has been appalling, but will wait until Tuesday and if the product doesn’t arrive (which is highly unlikely), will cancel my order and purchase elsewhere.
Misleading Information and Poor Service
I ordered an integrated dishwasher Hotpoint H7I HP42 from Martin Dawes because the website showed the item as being in stock and available for next day delivery and in stock. When I received no update from the company I contacted customer support the following day. They informed me that 'In stock' listed on the web site meant that it was in stock with their supply chain and not necessarily with them, I found this to be somewhat disingenuous. I was then further informed that the supply chain was having issues and there would be roughly a 5 day delay on delivery. On the day I was told I would be contacted I heard nothing so contacted customer support again to be told that there is to be a further delay, seemingly of unknown duration. This should have been made clear at the point of sale, I feel that I have been misled. Because this is an integrated dishwasher, the resulting delay is holding up the final installation of a kitchen and leaving me out of pocket.
At the time of writing, the item is still listed on the website as being in stock and available for next day delivery.

Incompetent Communication and Terrible Customer Service
I had a terrible experience with Martin Dawes. From start to finish, the communication was absolutely incompetent. After placing my order for a dishwasher that was listed as "in stock" on their website, I was informed, with no prior notice, that it was delayed and wouldn’t be available for another two weeks.
Trying to get through to anyone for clarification was an absolute nightmare. I waited for hours on the phone and sent multiple emails with no timely response. When I finally did get through, the customer service was rude and unhelpful, providing no shipment information or any real support.
It's beyond frustrating to deal with such unprofessionalism. I wouldn't recommend Martin Dawes to anyone based on this experience.

I recently bought a Panasonic Oled TV from the Gemini Branch.
I needed help and advice on what to go for. Stu the Salesman was very helpful and patient in our discussion. His after sales service was brilliant.
