Saw Mar y Viento boots online and fell in love, though was hesitant to order from overseas (I'm in Canada). Decided to pull the trigger on the Maia ankle boots! Checkout was easy and boots arrived within the week. Fantastic customer service after the fabulous boots arrived (had questions about care). Have received many compliments on the boots. A friend decided to order herself a pair AND I ordered a sandal. Irina is wonderful to deal with!

I really love my new Aqua Blue Alba loafers. They are my second Mar y Viento purchase and are the most comfortable, flat heeled shoes I’ve ever had. Perfect for wearing without socks in the summer (although I’m looking forward to wearing them all autumn too).
The difference with hand made shoes is so great - they’re fantastic quality 😍. Thanks, Mar y Viento. I’d like the cream ones next!

I bought the gold t bar sandals, the quality is exceptional and I was able to wear them straight away with no “break in” period. This is my second purchase from this brand, I love them.

Bought these to wear for a wedding and I’m so pleased I did. I got lots of compliments and they looked amazing. They looked smart and finished off my outfit. They were so comfortable and I'm looking forward to wearing them again and again. I can’t recommend enough .

My pink GAIA boots arrived in time for my swanky party. I was worried that I would have to wear them in a bit to be able to dance all night in comfort. Fantastic! They are the perfect fit and I danced from 10pm until 3am non-stop with no discomfort. They look unique and stylish too. A bargain for the price as I wear mine on many occasions. If you are after quality, comfort and style then look no further than Mary Viento. I’m just ordering my third pair now.

I normally go for Birkenstock sandals but could not resist buying a pair of these pink Ribera sandals.
They looked so pretty and comfortable and I'm so glad I did. They are literally the most comfortable sandals I remember having (I've been wearing them all day, walking round the city).
The straps don't actually go much higher than my ankle and they are not in the slightest bit irritating. They are easily fastened - you don't have to do up the buckle every time you put them on. I've had lots of compliments too - they just look gorgeous!

I bought a pair of the Caleta ankle boots for my wife. She loved them but they were a bit too big. I contacted Mar y Viento and spoke to Irina. She was really helpful and immediately arranged a return free of charge.

She also noticed that I hadn’t used the 10% discount code I had signed up for so she refunded me that part of the order.

The exchanged boots fitted perfectly and they are now my wife’s favourites.

Dealing with Irina was a pleasure and, though I don’t normally write reviews, this is one of those rare occasions where someone at a company goes over and above to help and I thought it merited my time.

Bought the Gloria boots in silver. Whilst the fit and style was in line with what I was expecting, the quality unfortunately very poor. The boots arrived with dents in each sole. The leather around the ankle is so badly finished that it gave me painful callouses around the ankles. I had planned to buy more boots, but won't be now. For £200 for a pair of boots, the quality has to be on point and I advise the company that they look into to quality and lower their price significantly.

Had my Gloria Silver boots today which arrived swiftly after ordering and they are fab! In lovely packaging and a protective bag. Very good quality, comfy, had great service from Irina. I noticed that id missed my 10% discount as a new customer, after messaging Irina she sorted it straight away and gave me a refund. Would highly recommend and order again!

I ordered a pair of boots from this company. When they arrived, I was a bit disappointed in the quality of leather finish and the structure and comfort of them - especially given the price of £199 for a pair of ankle boots. I was invited by the company to leave a review - which I did, giving 3 stars and explaining why. They didn't post my revirw - twice. I saw that they only published 5 star reviews. When I went to their facebook page to ask why they didn't publish my review and
to let other potential purchasers know my honest opinion of the product, they deleted my comment and blocked me from their social media pages. They sent me a email confirming that they don"t publish reviews with any negative content and offered me my money back if I returned the boots. I explained that I didn't want to return the boots - just to leave an honest review. So, if you are thinking of buying from them, just be aware that they manipulate their customer's reviews and will not let you know what their existing customers think of their purchzses. I will certainly never be buying from them again. The products are not dteadful - I just don"t think they represent very good value
The "gold lezther" is, in fact brown suede with a gold overlay that is patchy and rubs off. There is no arch support in the boots meaming that bodyweight is shifted onto the ball of the foot.
