A year and a half into the program and I am still incredibly glad I invested in myself. Like anything in life, you get out what you put in. The community is amazing and motivational! I'm moving slower than I like, but that is because I am learning a new DAW at the same time. But it's a journey, and everyday I learn something new...

The course is clearly laid out, easy to follow and provides in depth information. I had been producing for a couple years before joining and have learnt new things, in the "correct" order that I haven't found anywhere online. Since I've joined the program the feedback calls/sessions have only expanded and I'm very impressed!

One of the main reasons I joined the TRE community in Mastering.com was for the mentoring, encouragement and technical learning of becoming a mastering, mixing and producing engineer. And for the lifetime access and support!
Although I'm not yet really deep into the program, I'm totally motivated by the talented, engaged and wonderful community members and mentors.
If you have ever been thinking about going to "school" to become a true pro music engineer, this is it!

I've been in TRE Two years or so. The people here are very Knowledgable, and supportive. The community of members is just Great! I've learned so much here about audio engineering. It's Greatly improved my Mixes, 100% I didn't even know to make a master before I started the program. Its just great to have people you can share your work with so it continues to improve. It has been invaluable to me.

This is more than an audio training. It’s deeper than that. It gets into transformative mindset work that can have meaningful impacts on every part of your life. I just emailed one of the mentors to tell her that a one on one conversation she had with me has changed everything in terms of focus, goal setting and actual momentum. Also today after 9 months I had a moment where ear training clicked. I’m growing all the time. It’s a great program full of great people. The model is so good that I'm thinking about how I can adapt what they do in a business I’m building in another area of my life.

This is one of the best decisions I’ve made in my creative life.

TRE is an amazing program! The mentors are incredibly talented, nice, fun and caring. Best educational investment I've ever made hands down. I’ve been a classical musician my whole life. While I have a deep knowledge/appreciation for music, this program has opened up an entirely new side of the craft and challenged my abilities with the more technical aspect. Being able to see with a different lense, I have seen there is so much more to know and Mastering.com has all of the ins and outs needed to become a professional mixer and mastering artist. I am slowly going through and trying to retain as much as possible and feel confident that I can create a future with this newfound knowledge

I'm coming up on my first year in TRE, and I'm highly impressed with the program. The curriculum is well thought through and laid out. The mentors are outstanding, true experts in their domains, and always accessible and available - the care they have for student success and growth is more than evident. The student community has proven to me to be an invaluable resource - I've had questions answered and been given excellent advice and guidance from my fellow students. TRE has been, hands-down, the best investment I've made in my audio engineering journey, and I highly recommend it.

I've been in the TRE program for a little over a year, and my experience has been nothing but excellent! The curriculum is loaded with live demonstrations and practice to hone in on your skills. The mentors are very humble and provide excellent feedback that I take back to my own work. Overall my experience has been top-tier.

I have been at Mastering.com for 1 year now. Due to work and other things I am very behind on the course, but I kid you not, this is the real deal, these guys know exactly what they are doing and the know exactly what they are talking about. The price is a bit steep for a course, but they offer financing and it was 1000% worth it. They are great people, great teachers and very knowledgeable. Don’t believe me? This was the greatest decision of my life in terms of further educating myself in audio engineering! The curriculum is so in depth and brings you to the basics you never even knew were there, but so desperately needed in order to sharpen your audio engineering skills. These guys are the real deal!

I joined The Reverse Engineer a year ago and have since become a Mastering Engineer with some initial paying clients, and am now honing my Mixing skills. It's so much more than they could possibly share in a webinar or on the website. The program is insanely in depth and straightforward, and is constantly being updated as new info comes out in the industry. The community is so supportive and helpful as well, that's a huge plus since you're connected with hundreds of other students as serious as you are about being a pro at mastering, mixing, recording and production. The sky is the limit with this knowledge, and the instructors are not only highly experienced, they're fun to be around and talk with.

I've finished the coursework in a year's time. But just because I finished didn't mean I stopped learning. The community is so engaging that I come back daily to get a new idea, or song review, or piece of information, or more inspiration. Get it? It's non stop learning in this community. You get out of this course what you put in. Do the work, get results. OR you can keep watching 100's of YouTube vids and stay stuck where you are. Here, you will see the transition in your music. Great material and top notch mentors. Highly recommend.

I was one of many people learning how to master, mix and produce music from YouTube and the internet. Mastering.com is a one stop shop with a solid method of instruction for all 3 topics. I was specifically looking for workflow. I got much more. I’ve been on the program for a year and I have very good understanding, with mentorship, of all of these topics and more. Find fix the mix at mastering.com to get a taste of their great teaching method.

You want to learn how to produce, mix , or master at professional level? This is the place to learn how. I don’t feel lost anymore. I have a complete solid workflow. I have no gaps in my knowledge. This is one of the best decisions I’ve made.

I can't say enough about Mastering.com. From the time I discovered them through their Fix-the-Mix webinars to the many FREE (yes free) courses, I've grown exponentially in my craft. The The Reverse Engineer (TRE) program is fantastic and the Mentors are great! Another thing to mention is the methods in which they bring students is so refreshing! For Example, I scheduled for a call at one of the Fix-the-Mix events and the people were exceptional! No pressure at all. I can say that because at my initial call, I wasn't ready to sing up due to prior educational commitments. In stead of trying to coax me in, they just said "when your ready, we'll be here". some time later, I was ready and they welcomed me in like I was an old friend.
Now, the course! TRE has been a true blessing to me. I have already learned so much and it just keeps getting better. The beauty is, you go at your own pace. I admit, I did find myself "rabbitholing" In the Acoustic Truth (room acoustics) but that was because I was so intrigued but the entire room acoustics process. I learned way more than I needed and my being a overly neurotic mechanical engineer, I took it to a completely unnecessary level. LOL!!!
In all seriousness, I can't say enough good about Mastering.com and the people there.
Another thing to mention is the Skool community! What an amazing group! So much love and support there. I for one am not the most open person in what I perceive as a social media type environment but I have really gotten into the whole groove. here again, I can't say enough good!
In summary:
Mastering.com is a great place to learn, collaborate and just be part of a fantastic group of friends!
As you can see, as in my opening statement, I can't say enough but since I'm on the border of going to EIPC NOVEL here, I'll leave it right there!

I have been studying music and sound for a long time. If you have the means for building your own legit home studio, this is an excellent program. They are always growing and evolving with the industry. I went to an audio college back in 2001 and it was a nice introduction to large format studios and getting used to the industry but I didn't really learn nearly the skills that I did working with the folks at Mastering.com. I normally don't give out a perfect score but they deserve it. Their heart is in the right place and they go above and beyond to achieve excellence.
