Masterschool is a good place to go if you're looking to get into the tech industry. The instructors + the support/career councelors are wonderful people! Marie helped me out tremendously throughout my journey with her thoughtful guidance and warm approach :) Highly recommend!

From the very beginning, my experience with Masterschool was incredibly positive. The communication was clear, friendly, and professional throughout the entire process. I especially appreciated the personal guidance and support I received — it really made me feel seen and encouraged. Although my course funding was ultimately directed to a different provider (a decision made externally), I still want to highlight how impressed I was with the structure, clarity, and commitment of the Masterschool team. I’ve had a positive experience with the Masterschool Software Engineering program. The structure of the curriculum, especially the focus on real-world projects and hands-on coding, has been very effective for building practical skills.
The mentorship and support from instructors have been excellent. Regular code reviews and one-on-one guidance helped clarify complex topics.
Weekly challenges and group projects improved my problem-solving and collaboration skills.

they provided all necessary learning material needed for the rapid developement of every student,with mentors assigned to each student,to guide and encourage,put student in the right part to achieve their individual Goals.

Helpful Staff, Staff was trying everything to get me into Masterschool yet to no avail because of the Bundesagentur für Arbeit.

This was one of the worst learning experiences I’ve had. Masterschool charges thousands of euros for access to Notion pages, free YouTube tutorials, and AI-generated content from ChatGPT, all repackaged to look like a “professional curriculum.” Their so-called Campus is just a glorified content library — not a real educational platform. There’s no real interactivity, structure, or depth.

You’re promised mentorship, career support, and a real path to employment. What you actually get is minimal guidance, stretched-thin support, and a ton of self-study using free resources anyone could find online. The program feels like it was thrown together quickly, with marketing doing most of the work.

Even worse, the Agentur für Arbeit funds this, meaning taxpayer money is going to a low-effort, low-value product. Honestly, this should be audited. It’s not a serious education — it’s a business model built on inflated promises and AI-written lessons.

The only good thing about Masterschool was the mentorship from David and Lazar. They were helpful, human, and genuinely cared. Without them, this program would be completely empty.

If you’re considering Masterschool, don’t fall for the branding. You’ll lose money, waste time, and feel like you’ve been scammed by a fake school built on free content and broken promises.

I never thought that, at almost 40y/o, I would be able to retrain completely... but here I am! Masterschool Institute of Technology offers the perfect mix between self-learning and guided lectures, while providing insightful mentorship at the same time! Throughout this journey, I always felt I could learn my own way, at my own pace - which made the experience not only useful obviously, but, maybe more importantly, a lot of fun!

I don't even think that the AI program is fully funded by the Agentur für Arbeit. In my case I was given an offer that was turned down. Agentur für Arbeit said, "The offer is too expensive and beyond our limitations for 6 months upskilling program for a candidate."

You have to be consistent with your studies, as the workload is very demanding. There are daily, easy-to-understand sessions and good organizational and learning-supportive support. However, most of the time is spent self-studying on highly qualified online learning platforms for Tech certifications.
The certificates are of high quality for the chosen Tech careers.

I am also very grateful for the excellent information on creating an attractive English CV (curriculum vitae) and a professional LinkedIn profile, as well as for the many helpful tips and advice. With the support during the creation, the application materials were created much faster and easier.
